Mackenzie!
He'd been marveled by the fact that he'd received an invitation to one of Rachel Englewood's shindigs, but when Sebastian realized that everyone in their year was at the party, he realized that he shouldn't feel so special. He'd arrived with Mary as he'd had to meet her parents before they allowed him to take her out on Christmas, and was still reeling from the gun her father had pulled out. Sebastian had been absorbed in the wizarding world for nearly seven years now, but nothing would be able to hide his shock at the sight of a double barrel gun.

Maybe Sebastian should have just used the Jewish excuse. No need to celebrate Christmas and all that nonsense.

He'd lost Mary in the crowd; partly because there were so many people and mostly because he'd spotted Mackenzie Loftus on the other side of the room. Sebastian felt a ball of guilt in his gut as he did his best to follow the Slytherin inconspicuously out of the room and down a hallway, but he pushed any sort of anxiety away as he managed to find himself completely alone in a dark hallway of the Englewood home with Mackenzie.

Mackenzie. Mackenzie. How many times had he thought about that name, about that girl in the past three years? It seemed like a minute couldn't go by without her face crossing through his mind, and while his conscience was screaming at him reminders of his girlfriend, his heart kept thudding rapidly at the thought of the engaged girl of his dreams.

Engaged! Right. That should prove to be an issue, but Sebastian was far too hooked on the drug that was Mackenzie Loftus to care about what her ridiculous Slytherin friends thought or said about him right now.

Trying not to seem too much like a stalker, but knowing that he wasn't going to have another chance at seeing her alone like this---ever, Sebastian hurried his steps and caught up to Mackenzie before she turned into what had to be the restroom. "Hey---hold on."
