So. Griff is a dumbass. And yes he is telling the truth when he just said both of his brothers are retired from Quidditch, now. That's right, no more Chudley peeps to harass. Greer quit at the end of the season. But only the team manager and his brothers knew this. Until now. So, yes. Feel free to have your character be astonished at Griff's mention of Greer's retirement, if your character would, in fact, be astonished at Greer's retirement.

Also, I would like to point out that I find it HILARIOUS that 9/15 of the pro-Quidditch players are Gryffindors. Just like the dumb jocks ought to be. :X

ALSO HE IS ASTOUNDED AND SHOCKED THAT GREER QUIT, JSYK. So much so he forgot to be like O GOOD GAME, FAKE BIG BRO because he all of a sudden loves Griff. IDK where that came from, but he does. I think it's that whole firstie who loves Quidditch idolizing the captain bit, which just... stuck around for like twelve or so years. Griff is free to reject or accept it.
