[VINNY] How is my terribly-missed son? And my desperately-desired life friend? [/VINNY]

What an exciting first week here in America! While I cannot say I completely understand the understandable yet completely foreign American English, the following I have found to be true:

• the Italian team is quite friendly, as Matteo Basili told me personally he is looking to make as many 'amici' as possible.
• best dancers by far? Brazil.
• when you are lost on the subway (American Tube!), it is absolutely imperative to have the entire French team with you, or else you will be lost underground forever
• it has become impossible to tell what Ireland is celebrating more: its current undefeated streak or St. Patrick's day. It's all green!
• Maximus Brankovitch III (team USA's captain), is an absolute sweetheart and we must, as a country, rally for his transfer to Great Britain.

Anything to add, Gabriel? You must have at least one English secret to share! They love you!

WHAT DOES AMICI MEAN STAY AWAY FROM

Your terribly-missed son has been glued to the wireless and marking down the calendar we made until your return. He is quite attentive to details.

And your desperately-desired life friend is also counting down the days to your return.

But it sounds like you're having a blast!

NINE DAYS!! I am quite attentive to details and good at counting, good thing.

I--- yes! It definitely helps that Euro Cup got out all the jitters, though I think.

Nine agonizing days!

Absolutely! Your segments are just as exciting as the matches!

The English team's been a riot this tournament!

Best American accent? Tristan Bardera.

Worst? Sorry, Captain Midgen! Though she did manage to give my hair some pink streaks in support!

Take it up with the listeners, Captain! Maybe the ballot was flooded with bitter Americans!
