welcome back students! we all hope you have a great summer and enjoyed your time off. now that school is back in session, we'd like to give a hearty hello to all our returning and fresh faces. --- okay let's get real bitches, no one cares what principal nolan has to say. welcome back to another year at west high school, only 185 days til freedom, not that i'm counting down or anything already... i hope you all had a fun summer without having me around watching your every move and posting it for the world to read. you may think that you're all mine until the school bell rings, well think again. i'm where you all hang out, where you all eat and play. i'm everywhere whether you like it or not. i bet you're all excited for new updates to your blackberries, grapevine has been a little vacant since last june. now for you newbies, let me give you a little rundown. this is west high school, where my friends and i live lavish and scandalous lives. this is the life of cars, fashion, and out doing one another. our daddy's arn't afraid to toss a charge card our way as long as we stay out of theirs. i fit among all these animals, living the same lifestyle of the rich and famous. who says salt lake city doesn't have any fun? when we're not here stuck behind bars we're out partying, drinking, and doing everything kids our ages shouldn't -- don't tell daddy! the only difference between me and them, i just so happen to let all our "secrets" out, oops! when you want the 411 where your boyfriend has been for the past two nights or why so and so looks so coked out in economics class, i'm your girl. now that you have a taste of our life, let's see if you can join it. you know, it's a dog eat dog world out there, so watch your every move 'cuz you know i am... xoxo, gossip girl.

This game is inspired by the book and now tv series, Gossip Girl and while not directly based on the Cecily von Ziegesar's work, the game will have certain similarities, most importantly a Gossip Girl. Unlike the book and series though, these kids reside in the deemed to be 'normal' town of Salt Lake City and attended a co-ed high school, West High. This community surrounds the classes of 2009 and 2010 whom are enjoying their last years in high school. Credit to this community goes to summershare and unihigh for the idea, short premise we borrowed, and other works of creativity.
