[005] Recovering.
Apologies to anyone who noticed me being a bit of a zombie this past week. My sister came to visit for a few days and I haven't gotten a lot of sleep.

I also noticed that I don't really know of much to do in town that is low-key. Anybody have any suggestions? She's not as much of a thrill-seeker so I figure it might be good to find something calmer but fun to do next time she visits.

...Also, does anyone have any recommendations for a good doctor? I think my jaw really is cracked.

	Nah. I just need an x-ray to see if it really is. Nothing's out of place, it just kinda still hurts after more than a week. [and he hates hospitals. almost dying in them multiple times does that.] (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	If your jaw is broken and it heels improperly, you will have to go to a hospital and get your jaw rebroken to be aligned, or just let it heal improperly but that will cause later damage to your teeth and you have a chance of fluids getting into your system that will cause sever damage. 	That is if it is broken at all. It's possibly just bruised. All I need is an x-ray for now, and then determine if anything more is required. I'm not stupid with my health, but I'd prefer not to make much ado about nothing if it's not serious. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	Already did the ice, I dislike being drugged up, and to drink enough to kill the pain would just make my head hurt worse later in addition to the pain. And that wouldn't be wise to be drunk at work. I sincerely doubt my 30-year-old sister would tolerate that for more that two minutes before coming to kick my ass. And I love her too much to do that anyway, you brat. :p She'd be my good luck charm if I was gambling. ...She might actually enjoy that, so your idea still has merit.

And if any adult is doing that to their child then they do not deserve to be a parent and should have child services called on them. [That is angry face, harrumph!]

	Very true. But food can only occupy so much time. And while it would amuse me to speed with her on the back of the bike clinging and squeaking, I get hit for it later and she's not exactly weak. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	Yeah. I was hoping it was only a bruise, but it's persisted for a while yet so... I'll just search out some walk-in clinics for now, I guess. See if they'll give me an x-ray. (Reply to this)(Parent)
