I was called fat today. I'm not fat, am I? I mean, pregnant, yes. But fat? Have I really put on that much weight? God, if that's true, Tim must hate me ... Oh god. What if he divorces me or has an affair because I got fat?

I didn't think being fat would make me so insecure, but I doubt I'll be leaving this house anytime soon. And I'm going on a diet of crackers and milk. I'm not fat Tim won't have an affair if I do get fat

Let's think of the positive things!

1) You're going to be an awesome mummy.

2) We're going to have a little girl to put in pretty pink dresses and play tea party with

3) You have every right to eat whatever sugary confection you desire, GUILT. FREE. I promise you that. I will even pay for them.

4) You get to wear those snazzy baby bags and look all prepared and equipped like a superhero.

5) We get to buy toys!

6) Babies are totally awesome excuses to leave parties early.



She needs a name!

1. An awesome fat mummy.

2. I won't be able to play tea party without eating all of the little finger sandwiches and probably the toys, too.

3. No guilt, just fat.

4. I guess that's the one plus side of being a mum. Looking all super, and all.

5. I won't be invited to any parties because I'll eat everything and get fatter.

We haven't stumbled on one good enough.

1) An awesome not fat mummy, because the baby will be out of your tummy!

2) 'Little' being the key word. You could probably eat like a million of them and not gain a pound!

3) No fat, just yummy goodness.

4) Super is sexy.

5) I'll make sure all the parties are endless buffets, even though I know you won't eat everything, but just to make sure.


I know! I mean, do we want classic? Or unique? Or--I don't know what other kind of categories there are!

I don't know if that list made me feel better or worse. I just miss not being pregnant. Not that I don't like it I miss being able to hug you and not be like five feet away from you at the same time.

I don't know, throw some names out there.

:( I can understand that. I mean. Not the being pregnant thing, but I mean, hugs are a little awkward and stuff---I mean, that's what I understand. We're almost there, though! She'll be the best Christmas present ever.

Fuck it. I'm sorry, love. It's just ... I don't know. I guess it's just hormones that's making me talk crazy. I know everything will be perfect with us and the baby. Just like we've planned all along. I'm just glad I have someone supportive like you.

I kind of liked Addison. Cassandra was okay too. But Queenie? That's a real name?

We'll just deal with it when the time comes, I guess. For now, I'll just get over these fears and worries. They're probably completely irrelevant.

Addison Greengrass. I like that. Cassandra Greengrass has a nice ring to it. Addison Cassandra Greengrass. Eh. Cassandra Addison Greengrass. No. Daphne Cassandra Greengrass. I don't know. Nothing sounds perfect yet.
