Characters when they first wake up on Thursday will be, as we've stated, 'normal'. We realize 'normal' is in fact a rather broad term, so we'll clarify it some here. Please note, however, that this only applies outside of "dream" sessions.

By 'normal' we basically mean:

1) any powers and abilities characters have will be removed. You can no longer heal, supersize, fly, travel dimensions, anything. An example is Son Goku from Dragon Ball Z will not only not have any of his special powers, his strength will also be average, or slightly above average as the player wishes.

2) artificial/non-human limbs may be removed or kept outside of "dream" sessions. Examples are Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist with his automail, and Allen Walker from D.Gray-Man with his left arm made of Innocence. In Allen's case, the powers of the Innocence will be removed and his appetite may be decreased if the player wishes. The arm itself can also stay or be changed to a normal arm as per the player's preference.

3) Machines, mechas, anthromorphs, part non-human organism, and, uh, aliens, will have to take on a human appearance outside of "dream" sessions, by which we mean using a PB (or if they look human enough, simply including a reminder that they don't have a tail or dog ears or such.

An example of machines would be GLaDOS from the game Portal; she would take on a human form. Mechas such as anyone from the Transformers series would also fall under this category.

Anthromorphs and characters who are part-non-human would be like InuYasha from.. InuYasha, and Zetsu from Naruto will lose the parts that make them look less 'human'. InuYasha (part dog demon) may keep his demon appearance (that is, the white hair and gold eyes) minus ears and claws, or he may appear as his human side with brown hair and brown eyes; the player can decide. Zetsu will appear without the plant-like growths, and may keep his/their black and white halves and personalities, but will be unable to split up.

4) debilitating illnesses* or physical deformities (defined as you see fit, or by asking a mod for specifics!) will be 'cured'. These, like abilities, will return during "dream" sessions". An example would be Izumi Curtis from Fullmetal Alchemist; outside of dream sessions, her organs will all be there.

*Terminal illnesses that should be killing the character quickly will not do so, but they will still be there. Characters are free to acknowledge the fact that they are still ill but for some reason not dying from it.

Getting killed during "dream" sessions will not remove illnesses, missing limbs, deformities, etc. They'll still be there when the character "dreams" again.

Animal characters (talking or otherwise) are also acceptable and will retain their animal appearance, though large ones like Gamabunta from Naruto may have to be shrunk down a bit, if not entirely reduced down to a larger than average frog.

To those worrying in terms of icon space, fret not! Free scribbld accounts come with 50 icon slots. If that's not enough, you can shell out $20 for a year of paid that will get you a total of 225 icon slots.
