[doctor's visit today... has hated doctor visits since he was a kid, and especially hates them now that he's been seriously injured this past month, has had to do a lot more doctor visits. recognizes how important they are, but that doesn't mean he has to sit with a smile in the waiting room, leafing through the old magazines, stretching his arm in front of him, feeling each of his fingertips against his thumb. it's been a long recovery, but slowly the nerve damage is healing, and in the end he's only going to suffer from an ugly scar, and some periodic loss in feeling in his arm... which is why he's here, since it's been happening a few more times than usual this week, probably because he's stopped babying it and has been doing heavy work.]

	I've been losing sensation in it more... they told me I could start returning to my usual routine, but I got too excited and I just moved apartments so I started unpacking and it went numb again... and I can't figure out what they told me to do for physical therapy, I think I overdid the weight lifting, too. [this one was thankfully a short one, checking dressings and getting the orderly to rebandage was nice and simple. so luckily for her, she gets to come back to someone's head under a table and a butt up in the air. tries not to giggle at him but can't stop herself, hand over his mouth trying not to make it too heard.] It's around the corner if you are looking for the coffee.

[takes the coffee, nodding and following, giving it a little test sip, trying to steel himself. is so awkward around all women, even his own doctor. lacks all suave and smooth tactics, spending most of his life just working to try and prove himself. lacks the love life his big brother has, even if that ended in a divorce he still got pretty far.] ... You have got to be kidding. You have a scar to show off to them now and girls all love scars. I know I would definitely go for someone who has a scar. It's better than having the perfect body. More interesting. [opens up the door in and waves him through.] The attendant will be for you shortly. If you have any more problems, you know where my office is. And don't forget, next week, you are still due in for your check up.
