And the 'Claws have it! Sorta!
Hogwarts Quidditch has never been this wild and wacky! In the final match of the year, we had bludgers blaring, quaffles scoring, hair being pulled---yes, that's right, another fight broke out, and once again a Gryffindor was involved. I guess those stereotypes of the Lion's Den being a house for hotheads aren't too far off, huh? Chaser Ingrid Catchlove and Ravenclaw's seeker Ashlyn Cooper duked it out in the middle of the match, both being sent to the locker rooms.
Though, it seemed like all that was on Ravenclaw's mind was to catch the snitch---the defense was lax against everyone but the Gryffindor seeker, Selena Fortescue. This gave Gryffindor a commanding lead, but it wasn't even fifteen minutes when Cooper's replacement Benjy Williams, snatched the snitch and won the cup for Ravenclaw, but not the game! There goes the undefeated season, but, at least they have a shiny trophy to help ease the pain from that.
What an exciting year! Let's hope next season is just as entertaining!
