QUARANTINED!Portkeys, floo ports, and other modes of magical transportation have been banned from exiting and entering the country due to the rapidly spreading V2 Virus that has already cost four people their lives. The Minister for Magic has issued a state of emergency and International Confederation of Wizards has ruled that quarantine of England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland is a preemptive strike against the virus spreading across the continent.
If a wizard or witch is showing any sign of symptoms, please have them immediately taken to St. Mungo's Hospital where all levels of the building are being utilized. The Minister and St. Mungo's requests that those who must enter public areas take the proper precautions with the partial bubble-head charm and practical cleanliness. Hogsmeade weekends have been canceled until further notice for Hogwarts students.
External stations for St. Mungo's staff and patients are being set up around the London metropolitan area and after admittance patients will be sent to the designated areas. St. Mungo's is
still the first go and to avoid over admittance to these new stations, locations will not be revealed publicly. All Healers are now on
mandatory overtime. Mediwizards and those trained in potion making's services are requested to be utilized for mass production of pepper-up potions and other useful, basic potions.
