He was quite sure that he had never felt this way before in his entire life. Every single muscle in his body was tense, tied into knots, while his head felt like it was being smashed by a hammer. It had been an issue of his ever since he had been young, to get chronic headaches every now and then. But, this wasn’t the same. This was caused by stress, and fatigue, and…aggravation. Even though it was very rare for Dedalus Diggle to be angry at someone, to be angry at Eliza, he was. He just didn’t think he ever would be. Well, at least not to this degree.

Sitting in his friend’s apartment, he stared down at the kitchen floor. He was certainly sitting at the table, leaning back in his chair, completely slouched back as Emmeline moved around setting up some tea. He hadn’t said much since he had arrived, despite the fact that he told her that he wanted to talk. It was mainly because she had told him to not give her any attitude, and was positive that if he opened his mouth as soon as he got there he would just let any words fly out of his mouth, having no control over his tone or what he was saying. Eventually though, he leaned forward, the first movement he had shown in a while, and rested his elbows on his thighs.

“She told her.”

Emmeline took her time brewing things up, letting Dedalus sit and stew in his own fury at whatever he was mad about. It wasn't hard to figure out, really; he'd had a fight with his girlfriend. What other reason could he have to not be in his flat for days? Which meant that it was a rather big fight, which meant that---well, she would have known if Dedalus and Eliza had fought this badly before, right? She prided herself on being one of Dedalus' closest friends, and would probably be a bit offended if she didn't.

Plus, she was rather nosy.

At his words, she winced, and kept pouring the tea. She'd known what was going on with Merridew and Dedalus and Frank--but it had been better to keep as few of the Order members involved as possible. It was a sticky situation and---hm. Turning around, Emmeline brought the cup of tea over to Dedalus and put it in front of him, sitting across the table with her chin in her hand.

"What are you going to do?" Wipe Dodderidge's memory? Eliza's? Emmeline couldn't help but scrunch her nose at those ideas; they'd already wiped Merridew out of existence.
