Bruno wasn't a completely horrible friend. He had caught wind of some of the things going on with Cepheus, which was confusing. He'd always thought that Cepheus and Xavier were happy and in love. But, obviously he'd fallen out of the loop with most of his friends since Charlotte had decided she was a very happy girl on his cock.

But, he had to avoid Jaden and see how bad that situation was with everyone else. He texted Jude to meet up with him at a pub and was sitting and waiting for him at the bar, sipping at an ale.

Jude wasn't expecting the text from Bruno, although he wasn't exactly sure why. Yeah, Bruno had stolen Jaden's girlfriend and it was kind of fucked up that a girl like Charlotte would decide to get with a sex addict, but then again Bruno had been in love with her for ages. Jaden had never said anything about not hanging out with Bruno anymore, so when he got the text he agreed to meet.

"Hey, mate." Jude clapped Bruno one the shoulder as he slid onto the stool next to him and ordered himself a beer. "So everything's kind of exploded since the last time we talked. Jaden bruised his fist on your face. How are you?"

Things were probably pretty bad when you were asking a friend what was up with your brother. Jude shrugged. "Last I heard, he and Cepheus were moving in together but they were also having some kind of problems. I try not to pry to much into other people's relationships because I don't really care, but everyone definitely saw the photos of Cepheus snogging Albus's brother."

He ran a hand through his hair. "So... no idea. It's been a while since I heard from him. You should ask Elodie. She's his keeper."

"Everyone. Including me." Bruno admitted with a laugh. "Someone sent them to me in my email and I happened to see them on my phone. I was a little confused. I thought the two of them were doing fine. They were the last time I talked with him."

He sighed softly. "I should text him and ask him if he wants to go out later. We can go to a club or something. Do you want to join us?"

"Yeah, like I said. As far as I knew, they were moving in together. I'm pretty sure Cepheus bought them a flat and everything." Jude shook his head. "Who knows. Maybe they swing. Doesn't really seem like either of them though. They're both pretty possessive."

He hesitated for a moment before nodded. "Yeah, sure. I haven't seen either of you in a bit. I've mostly been with Jaden, you know?"

"Like... all the way?" Jude shrugged. "I don't know, mate. He really liked Charlotte and then she did the whole... oh Jaden, be my boyfriend, actually never mind I'm with Bruno now thing and broke his spirit. But it's hard for him to be pissed at the girl he fancies, so all the rage that should be spread over two people is currently focused on you."

He cleared his throat, taking a sip of his beer. "But, you know, he'll chill out eventually. He'll meet someone new or enough time will pass that he'll go from being mad at you to missing you. You know?"

"Macnair's don't miss people." Bruno laughed at Jude and shook his head. "He'll just start hating me less, I suppose. Maybe. After enough time passes. He'll want to go cow tipping or something to prove he's better at pushing over cows than I am."

He rolled his eyes and finished his beer, ordering another. "Charlotte has always been mine. Regardless. I feel like he doesn't have a right to get upset."

"Well, I've seen you both push over cows before and he is better than you at it," Jude said, snorting. "You got the girl. You should at least let him have the cows."

He shook his head. "That's your Macnair talking, though. The rest of us think he's got a good point when he gets upset about you, technically, breaking up him and his girlfriend, even if they were together for less than a day."
