Power capabilities: Savy has the ability to read and sense the emotions of others, as well as control the emotions or feelings of those around her. Having not been clued into what is going on in the town, she doesn't really know what to make of the fact that shes hyper aware of the moods of others. Since she doesn't really have a good grasp on her power or how to control them she often influences or completely changes the moods of those around her for better or worse. When those in close proximity to her become extremely emotional (highly aggitated, severely depressed, overly excited, etc.) she begins to feel physically sick.

Brief History: Isle of Palms is not Savy's hometown and it wasn't until she was thirteen that she and her family moved there after getting tired of the earthquakes, seeing as La Selva Beach lay right near the epicenter of the San Andreas fault line, and her parent's own fights that would surely be up there on the Richter Scale. While her brother had shown a penchant for being a trouble maker early on in life, she on the other hand seemed to play the opposite role. She was the quiet one who was perfectly content with just staying in the shadows as long as she had her surfboard and a good swell.
The move didn't bother her much because she still had the ocean and when she wasn't at school or doing her chores she was off at the beach surfing. Timbo had taught her when she was just a kid and it wasn't long before she was quite skilled at such. Highschool came and went and when it came time to further her education she choose to go into a two-year program, but dropped out a semester short of finishing realizing that college nor either the of the paths her parents had choosen career wise were fit for her. She took a series of small jobs before noticing a wanted sigh in the window of the Palma de la Mano Surf Shop and decided to put in an application. Hired on the spot as a clerk it wasn't long until she met the owner of the shop's son, Ryvre York. The two soon became close friends and it was actually because of this that after a particularly intense day out surfing between the two that Ryver passed along word of her finesse, securing her the job of surf instructor. About two years ago, through a course of events surrounding her parent's still volatile relationship she moved, in with Ryvre and has been rooming with him since.
Like the other inhabitants of Isle of Palms, Savy was affected by the "oil" spill and has been aware that something is different with her since last summer, but can't really put her finger on it.
Bitty Personality Descript: Savy is overall a pretty zen gal. She's ditzy (but not terribly so), a bit on the gullible side and easily influenced by those close to her. When you first meet her she's awkwardly - nearly painfully - shy and it does take her awhile to come out of her shell around new people, but once she has you get to see her real personality. An uber-goofball that loves nothing better than corny jokes and telling long stories about her surfing follies, she's the girl that you'll always find writing haikus that she's made up on the spot on any free space available. Not the most confident person, except when it comes to her ability to surf, she often second guesses herself and her actions as to how they pertain to those around her. She is also a firm believer that nothing makes a better gift than interesting shells and random bits of sea glass.
