Exclusive Interview!

Chivalry The etiquette of being Jonas Ackerly
Recently, our own Liliane Bookends caught up with the newest Witch Weekly sensation himself to ask all of the questions we've been dying to know. Is he really that sweet all the time? What's his home life like? And who influenced his newest album "Keep the Light On"?
Witch Weekly: You're a difficult one to tie down for an interview, you know? We thought we might have to hire our own bounty wizard. Jonas Ackerly: Oh dear, I'm sorry. It's been absolutely mad since the album dropped.
WW: We know! You've been all over the papers since then! JA: Yes! It's mind boggling. There are have been so many pictures and interviews that my head's spinning. Where am I, again?
WW: (laugh) Why, the Witch Weekly offices, of course! JA: Right! I like the violet walls. It's different.
WW: They're lavender, actually. JA: Oh! I'm sorry. I'm terrible with colors.
WW: It's the thought that counts! JA: (laugh) Absolutely!
WW: Our avid readers have been rather taken with you. We have an owl bin with your name on it. JA: Really?! (laugh) Thank you. I can't begin to say how thankful I am for every bit of love I've received as of late. I didn't realize how generous and passionate people can be. It's humbling.
WW: Do you think you're staying grounded in spite of it all? JA: I try to. I don't know if I'm succeeding, but I'm trying.
WW: Well, any wizard who carries their wife's bag has certainly not let it all go to his head. JA: (laugh) You saw that?
WW: You had it on your shoulder when you two came into the offices. We took a picture. JA: Oh, be sure to use that one. She'll get a giggle.
WW: It's so rare to see such chivalry in these modern times. JA: Chivalry? (laugh) I don't know about that, but I do like to help her out any way I can. She does so much for me.
WW: How so? We heard she's not the typical housewitch. JA: She's not, but I also don't want her to be. I want her to be happy and healthy. I want her to feel loved and cared for. That's all.
WW: Are you a doting husband? JA: I'm a bumbling fool.
WW: Bumbling fools don't write chart-topping love songs. JA: Oh, they do. I guess you can cite me as an example.
WW: Yes! "Keep the Light On" is a hit! JA: It still astounds me that people want to listen to the album.
WW: Why is that? JA: (pause) I never thought I would succeed as a solo artist. It was just a dream.
WW: And now, look at you! It's just starting, trust us. JA: One can hope. I definitely feel blessed to be where I am.
WW: You really are determined to not let this go to your head. JA: (laugh) I have let it go to head. It's in the past and I'm not going to allow it to happen, again.
WW: You were quite the Casanova when you were fronting For the Love of Zeus. JA: I'd rather we didn't go there. It's in the past and should stay there. My life changed when I met my wife and that's all I have to say.
WW: Not even one, teensy remark on the rumored Hogwarts fling with Glenda Prewett? JA: Absolutely not.
WW: You're no fun! JA: It wouldn't be very chivalrous of me!
WW: (laugh) We expect no less from you. Now, tell us a little more about the influences behind your solo debut? JA: Oh. (laugh) I was beginning to wonder when we were going to get to that.
