Casey is the oldest of four and her parents work incredibly hard to provide for the both of them. As such, they aren't around a whole lot and Casey gets a lot of the responsibility for household chores and helping to look after her younger siblings. Casey understands, though, and she doesn't begrudge them for any of it. It just makes her more determined to make a better life for the family she will have one day.

ACTIVITIES: Cheerleading, Student Council, Volleyball, FBLA.. and just about everything else you could imagine.
APPEARANCE: Casey is a naturally pretty girl. She had long, dark brown hair and nearly flawless dark skin. Her nails are always well-manicured and she dresses fashionably, in clothing that is rarely messed up or wrinkled.
She has an average build, standing at 5' 8" and weighing right around 130 lbs, give or take. She's not obsessive about her weight or diet, but she does take pride in her appearance and she lives an active lifestyle. Casey believes in taking good care of herself and she knows how important a good first impression is.

DETAILED PERSONALITY: Casey is a bright and determined young woman. She knows what she wants out of life and she's not afraid to go after it. If that means she has to burn a few bridges along the way, so be it. Casey definitely believes in the concept of survival of the fittest. She's a friendly girl, but that doesn't mean she won't push a friend out of the way to achieve her own goals.
Just as intelligent as she is ambitious, Casey maintains a nearly perfect GPA. She manages to do this while balancing a whole slew of extra-curricular activities. Casey is incredibly busy, but that's how she likes it. Life's too short to slow down or waste any time. There's a lot she wants to accomplish and she's determined to use her time wisely. Besides, all her activities will look amazing on her college applications.
Of course, Casey does know how to have fun. You might not know it to looks at all her plans and schedules, but she likes to party just as much as the next kid. She's generally responsible about it and she's careful not to do anything stupid that could wreck the perfect future she has planned for herself, but she hits most of the parties her classmates host and she's even willing to relax and have a good time while she's at it. After all, she knows her social connections will be just as important as her education in the real world.
HISTORY: Casey was the first of four children born to John and Lynn Kesterson, a hard-working young couple who fell in love in high school. They got married at 18 and were more than a little surprised when they ended up pregnant during their first year of college. Without the resources to both raise a child and go to school full-time, John dropped out while Lynn tried to continue her education as well as she could.
Lynn meant to only take a semester off once Casey was born, but the time flew by and she found that it was hard to go back to school once she'd taken that break. Children were more than a little exhausting and didn't leave much time for finishing an education. Especially when the next three soon followed Casey and before she knew it, there was a house full of kids to take care of.
Once her youngest started school, though, Lynn did go back to finish her degree. It was a long and hard process, but in the end she made it. She got a degree in Library Science and was able to land a decent job as at one of the local libraries.
As Casey grew up, her parents weren't around a whole lot. They both worked full-time and for awhile her mom was also going to school in the evenings. She was left to fend for herself a lot and also charged with taking care of her siblings. Some people would maybe be bitter about that, but Casey just did what she had to do and vowed that her life would be different.
Her parents worked really hard to provide for them, but it meant that Casey got to take dance lessons and have a lot of the things that she wouldn't have had otherwise. She was definitely grateful for that. As she grew older, she dropped the lessons, needing the time to focus on the various activities she had at school. She's determined to get into a good college and she knows she'll need scholarships to pay for it all. That means she's really focused on her grades and the extra-curricular activities that will help her get there. She still loves to dance when she finds the time, though, something that being a cheerleader helps her indulge in.
Casey has dated a little, but she won't let herself get really serious about it while she's in school. The way she sees it, that was her parents' big mistake when they were her age. There will be plenty of time for love once she's settled in her career.
