I bought this by accident thinking it was an actual book... who else has one of these things?

I don't suppose the lack of an author or title, or, you know, words, tipped you off that it was not so?

It was with a pile of other books that I did recognize and have read already, so I simply assumed it was one I hadn't gotten to yet.

And hello to you too Rachel.

This, I believe, is your standard case of Caveat emptor. I hope you have taken a valuable lesson from it.

Hello, Edward.

Maybe I'll find this journal useful, therefore only reinforcing the pick-at-random habit that I already have established and eliminating the need for a lesson being taught at all.

How have you been? You haven't visited in a while.

There is always a lesson that you need to be taught.

I am now an incredibly busy and important person! I am interning to save lives on a near-daily basis, therefore I am now a person far above random social calls and gatherings.

Gasp! Don't insult me with such things!

Darling! I always make an exception for you.

I'm very glad to hear that! Now we must set up a random social call/gathering to prove this.

I believe I can pencil you in somewhere around the fifth...?

You both insult me so. Making plans on my own journal and not inviting me...

Another entry gave me a good idea! We should definitely try to get our class back together for a three year reunion! Because we're either ridiculously happy or dead---

[info]esp

You want to have to deal with the idiots of our class all over again?

Five years is more of a staple year to reunite.

Yes, but! We're more awesome than other years :( And I think we need a bit of a pick me up.

I suppose if you look at it that way...

Perfect! And no boys!

Definitely no boys.

Perfect.

[info]malengled

Oh, I'm very sorry, Edward, this is a very intimate gathering with positively no boys allowed. Even the location is a secret.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Yes, I see. Of course.

See you on the fifth.

It's funny how you read "no boys allowed" as an invitation.

I look forward to see you too, Rachel.

Just me? And will you be doing the teaching?

And I am not a random social call or gathering, I am a close school confident which definitely exceeds all.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[info]malengled
2009-03-03 05:51 am UTC (link)
If I have to, I could be persuaded.

I might be willing to allow you to take me for a drink.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[info]esp

I can do more than persuade you.

Might? I insist.

[info]malengled
2009-03-03 06:05 am UTC (link)
Oh, I don't know about that, I am a woman of resolve.

Well, if you insist, I suppose it would be rude to say otherwise.

Oh hello

Well that's silly, didn't you look inside before you bought it?

(Reply to this)(Thread)

[info]esp
2009-03-03 04:54 am UTC (link)
I don't usually look inside books before I buy them, so no.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[info]frenzy_franzy
2009-03-03 05:01 am UTC (link)
Oh, I usually flip through the pages first.

Anyways, these are way more entertaining than books anyways. Well at least some times... sooo much gossip

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[info]esp
2009-03-03 05:07 am UTC (link)
In what ways? How?

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[info]frenzy_franzy
2009-03-03 05:18 am UTC (link)
Well, not only can you keep in touch with friends without having to deal with owls and meet new people, but sometimes people forget to ward certain entries and you'll learn the most interesting things. Like who's flirting with who and who's mad at who etc.

Maybe its just a girl thing, but I do love watching people gossiping forgetting that everyone can read.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[info]esp
2009-03-03 05:30 am UTC (link)
That's interesting. And who are you? I don't think we've met.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Oh, How rude of me.

I'm Franziska Dolohov. Most people just call me Franzy.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[info]shelovesyou
2009-03-03 05:20 am UTC (link)
I very much think so! You're telling me you've gone, mmmm, four-or-so years without hearing about these journals?

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[info]esp
2009-03-03 05:27 am UTC (link)
Perhaps I choose to ignore the fact that they are very popular, and just now I am realizing I obviously have been missing out.
