Doctor's Orders - Test Scene
Time for good ol' LJ to take a look at the Venom symbiote, again. Every time Peter was about ready to go see her, he couldn't help but have this nagging feeling in the back of his head that said not to go. He didn't know what it was, but SHIELD was pretty damn serious about him making every appointment. And, well, so was he.

The doors to Lena's lab slid open and Peter stepped in. "Always so clean," he commented.

	"Well, at least this part is," she winked. "I don't know what that beaker with the green and red residue in the corner is from. Not sure I want to. Sit down Peter." She waved him to take the stool set out while she glanced at a clipboard with some notes. "How've you been?" (Reply to this)(Thread)

"Yeah, there's nothing major happening lately; just some random tentacles when I get excited or some spikes when I get angry. I feel like the symbiote is racist, because this never happened to Dad."

Of course not. Flash wasn't bonded on the same level. He was able to give the symbiote to other people if he wanted to. Peter couldn't do that.

"And I think the symbiote gets agitated every time I come here. Like right now, I feel like it's restless and wants to leave. I don't think it likes being studied."

She nods as she listens. These were all pretty normal symptoms so far, nothing new. "Well I'll make sure to file a complaint to human resources about racist remarks against one of our agents. The bureaucracy will get back to that symbiote and give it a good tongue lashing."

Lena reaches for her mug of coffee and takes a sip to partial hide a wry smile. "Oh? It doesn't like me huh? Well Peter, does it make you not like me too?" Always good to know if the symbiote had too much control over his psych. It was no surprise the thing didn't like being studied. But too bad for it because she was going to study it anyway.

	He looked amused at that comment. If he ever did go out of control, he hoped somebody would try to give Venom a good talking to; just to see if the laughter would bring him back in control. "Hah, not at all." Lena was his sexy biologist handler, of course. "Well, at least you have enough sonic devices in this room to drown out all it's complaints, right?" "Ah, but I like to keep it a mystery just how many in case the symbiote decides one day it doesn't like me at all," she smirked.

"Alright, you know the drill. Tissue and blood samples like usual. Luckily we're all lazy in the department and made it automated to make things easier. So while you stick your arm in that thing we can continue our chat." She indicated the machine beside him which looked awfully like one of the arm cuff blood pressure machines found in general pharmacy stores. Except of course this one did more than just measure blood pressure. She waited for him to stick his arm in before setting the controls on the thing and letting it start. "Alright, do you have one or am I going to need to make up a topic of the day thing while we let this run? You will remember that mine suck and it's your turn anyway."

	Peter casually put his arm in the machine and looked at Lena. "Yeah, it's true; you do suck at starting conversation." He took a moment to laugh at her and simultaneously wondered if she got him to do that on purpose just to please the symbiote. Or maybe he was thinking too much? "Well, let's see..." Hm.
