Planning a Field Trip
Henry steps into the living room, having just returned from lunch.

And he stops. Because there's Katima, in the living room, arched over backwards, one arm stretching upward, her eyes closed, humming.

"...Kat...?" he asks, curious.

Silence. There is only silence. Kat's eyes, both those she could see with and the emotional ones that let her see the feelings of others were closed and she was, for the moment, no longer a part of the living world. She was elsewhere and after a few moments, even with Henry saying her name, she slips from humming to a language Henry has never heard her utter before--Korugaran. Then, and only then, she folds herself down flat to the floor and opens her eyes.

"Hi. Have you been watching long?"
