Player (nickname, handle)/ LJ: Sands
Email: you have it
AIM (if you have one): see above answer
Character Name: Brandr Fandralsson
Character LJ (if applicable): dashingly
Physical description (face, build, weight): 6'8, blue eyes, short to medium length brown hair, often with a bit more than a few days stubble but short of a beard
Age: 29 (counting this fall)
Birthday: Fall
PB: (If using one.): Richard Madden

Abilities:(Standard Asgardian ability set) (copied from nextgen wiki):

Super Strength: He can press/lift up to around 35 tons.

Superhuman Stamina: Like all Asgardians, Brandr’s muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than those of humans allowing him to operate at peak levels for longer periods of time.

Superhuman Durability: The tissues of Brandr’s body are also considerably harder and more resistant to injury than those of a human.

Superhuman Longevity: Brandr, like all other Asgardians, isn't immortal in the same sense some other god pantheons. Brandr ages at a pace far slower than a human being. The consumption of the Golden Apples of the goddess Idun is essential to an Asgardian maintaining their physical vigor, though Brandr has not yet had to ingest any of the apples so far due to his young age.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite his high resistance to injury, it is possible to injure Brandr. If injured, his body is capable of repairing damaged tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than the body of a human being. Serious injuries such as missing limbs can only be healed by magical means.

Superhumanly Dense Tissue: As with all Asgardians, Brandr’s skin, muscle, and bone tissues have 3 times the density of the same tissue in the body of a human being, contributing somewhat to his superhuman strength and weight.

Exceptionaly Strong Will: Like all Asgardians, Brandr possesses a very strong will making him resistant to powers and abilities that rely on willpower.

Magic: Brandr doesn't have much skill in magic and his only ability is a very minor illusory one. He can make it seem to his opponent that his blade is moving slower than it actually is, though this has been quite useful in fights he avoids using it as it would take away the fun and challenge out of a fight.

Aesir: Brandr can speak English, German and a number of the languages of northern Europe, but is primarily fluent in the language of the Norse gods. When he speaks, all listeners understand what he's saying in an archaic version of their own native language, hence the Norse gods speaking Middle English.

Other skills:
Bladed Mastery:  Brandr is already considered one of the premier blade masters in Asgard. Though he can use the bow and bludgeoning weapons, it is not his forte and he will always pick something with an edge instead. He favours light swords usually and always carries two around with him, though in the majority of fights he only draws one in order to make sure the fight lasts a little longer and can be enjoyed more. The swords he carries are specially made and can cut through both stone and iron with greater ease, they also resist rusting. He also carries with him a few daggers and small knives.
- Horsemanship
- Is more agile and has faster reflexes than most asgardians due to his sword training.

Weaknesses and flaws:

While he takes his duties seriously, Brandr views fighting as something fun. And above all he loves a challenge. He'll give himself handicaps in a fight (part of the reason he rarely pulls out a second sword) in various forms just so the fight may be more challenging. He very much tones this down on duty but it's still slightly there. There's also an element of goading his opponents when he fights, he finds it interesting to see how people react. Of course even he knows when it's time to be serious and that's usually when he's officially on duty. Brandr has little cultural knowledge of Midgard, except for his father's somewhat outlandish stories of Thor and the Warrior's Three.

Character location/Home: Asgard
Alignment (villain, hero etc): Hero
Relatives (living/dead?): Fandral the Dashing (father/living), Tilda (captain of crimson hawks) (mother/living), Other mother (living), and probably various half siblings (knowing Fandral)

Backstory:

Though a reckless adventurer in his childhood, with an obsession with knives and copying his father's humour, Brandr did eventually get a sense of responsibility. Mostly due to his mother's influence (Fandral being the adventurous one always abroad). Before joining the Crimson Hawks, Brandr spent a few years both adventuring across the realm and fine tuning his sword skill. It served both to train him more and let his rebellious years go by without affecting duty or honour much. Now a member of the Crimson Hawks, and having proven himself to be there not simply for connections, Brandr goes wherever he's sent.

While he's sarcastic and always in search of a challenge, the moment he's on duty that gets significantly toned down. Everything comes after his duty as a Crimson Hawk and he views it as a great honour to be on the guard. Though his duties often clash with his desires.

How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: Plot stuff, someone needs a bodyguard and hey, that's his duty
What are you planning to do with this character? Bodyguard duties need to be done and of course, explore Midgard a little. See if even some of these grand stories are true.
What do you want to see happen with this character?: Explore Midgard, deal with the duty overpowering things he'd rather do and Defenders plots

Please include a sample post/scene
