I can not believe that Leanne is going to be three, already.

Bloody hell, time flies!

I'd like to get her something nice, for her birthday - it's coming up soon - but I'm not sure about what just yet.

Any suggestions?

Also, on a completely different note...thank you, Spring, for finally showing up. Took you long enough! April showers in England are brutal.

I certainly can't complain about the nice weather.

Pft. What's there to complain about? It's absolutely gorgeous outside.

Besides, I'm sure your fondness of this wonderful weather has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that warmer weather naturally leads to less clothing.

Nope. Nothing at all.

Absolutely not.

Do you take me for a pervert?

Nope, I just take you for a male.

Isn't that more or less the same thing?

Not necessarily.

See, a pervert is someone who ogles. Males are just the generic sex of most perverts, but some males are actually gentleman - these males just appreciate a woman's wardrobe in the warmer weather.

I'd like to think you're in the latter group. Casually observing and noticing without leering, because leering is creepy.

Does that make any sense?

Yes, I suppose it does.

And I'd like to think I'm in that latter group too.

Is she too young for jewelry? She's always grabbing at her grandmother's.

I think she's a little too young for that - unless of course you mean plastic costume jewelry. I for one was never the 'girly girl' type as a child, so maybe I'm not the best person to ask about that. I was always more into sports, scraping my knees, and climbing around on rocks with Sam.

Do you think she would like a rocking horse? Or is there some sort of wizard equivalent that I just don't know about - rocking Hippogriff or something?

Well, I'm not returning the pearls so- There are rocking unicorns! Hippogriffs I think are a bit unfriendly in the toy world.

Oh, Merlin, of course they would be unicorns. Why on earth my mind didn't go to the closest thing to a horse, I'll never know.

Do you know if Seth your brother is planning to have a party for her or not?

This is very true.

He's also sweet, and kind, and funny, and I really enjoy his company...which is why I haven't exactly been advertising that we've been kind of sort of seeing each other, since that seems to jinx every relationship I've ever had, ever.

Heh.
