Giada, first of all, your son is absolutely, 100% gorgeous - I told you too many times yesterday, but I feel the need to tell you once again.

With that being said, there's something I want to tell the both of you, because I know how the two of you positively thrive off of gossip.

I went on a date the other night.

And it was lovely. He was lovely...

It was such a spontaneous thing, I had never even met him before! He commented on my rantings about having such a horrible day, and one thing led to another, and then we were making plans to have a dinner date.

He's extremely handsome, with these eyes that just make you feel like you're drowning, and this smile that's so contagious.

There's just...one thing.

He's a professional Quidditch player with a sister who plays for the Magpies.

You know what. With all these quidditch men in your life, I think it's just fate's way of telling you that you're going to end up with ONE OF THEM. Because I mean really! Just because they play quidditch doesn't make them a bad guy!

Seth was just a major douche!

	It's like pavlov's bell - I've been programmed to believe that every time I hear the words 'I play professional Quidditch', I'm going to just wind up getting hurt in the long run. And maybe...with the maybe leaning more towards a 'yes' than a 'no'. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

WELL! This time, you're not going to jump into things! You married Seth after not knowing him too long and for the wrong reasons! You don't even have to think that far with Geoffrey! It's okay! You don't have to marry him! You can date, see if you like him and if not then! Whatever! You are young, beautiful, and successful and there are so many men out there who would be so happy and beg to be with you!

Oh God, no, the thought of marriage hadn't even crossed my mind...but I understand what you're saying. All we really know about each other is whatever was said during our meal, so I do like the prospect of getting to know him better...but I don't want to get my hopes up too far in advance.

Believe me when I tell you that the photographs you've seen don't even do him justice.

I'd like to see him again, but I don't know how to approach the situation. Every time I sit down one-on-one with people, when I'm not comfortable around them I tend to sound like I'm conducting an interview or something.
