Lunch!
Annie always liked visiting Chicago. She was in the area for a charity event with her parents for a couple of days, and she couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit a friend while she was in town. She'd heard Cindy was living in Chicago these days, so she decided she'd give her friend a call, and see if she wanted to do a lunch and shopping.

She got out her phone and dialed. "Hey, Cindy!" She said when she answered. "It's Annie. You busy?"

Annie smiled, linking arms with her friend as they walked. "Oh, this and that. Dad had was asked to work a case in Paris, and asked me to help him. And Mom and I took the opportunity to do some shopping while we were there. I picked up some really cute shoes for you that just screamed 'Cindy would love these!'. Things in Opal and with the YJLA have been quiet lately, but I don't mind it."
