Cecilia
It was not an exaggeration on Evan’s part, mentioning how annoyingly repetitive his schedule had been lately. It was becoming almost unbearable, having to wake up each morning and walk into that building. While his job required him to translate for all different types of situations, everything had been getting more and more complicated. He would sit beside whoever was his client at the time, repeating everything back to the person on the other side of the room, only to have the other client begin to shout and yell about whatever they had said. There had been a few cases of people who had been living in United Kingdom before the new laws were created, and many of them were just trying to get back home to their own country for the upcoming holidays. This caused complications for the muggle born citizens, since they were already issued an identification card. It was just…annoying. The fact that he had to help the mudbloods was bad enough, but having to do it every day was starting to get to him. So, when Cecilia mentioned taking the day off, he had taken a lot of time to consider it. It would most likely cause a meeting with his boss the next day, but he didn’t care.

Getting dressed into something that wasn’t a suit and tie, his usual attire for work, he slipped into a fitted long sleeve t-shirt, pair of jeans. It was very rare to see him wearing such an outfit, even on the weekends. Slacks and a nice button down were usually worn, because he had things to attend to. Today, however, he planned on doing absolutely nothing at all; another rare occurrence for the blonde male. His fingers slid back through his light blonde hair, pushing it away from his face as he continued to wash up. He had only gotten out of the shower not too long ago, so his locks were still a bit damp. He took a long look at himself in the mirror, staring at his reflection for a while before he moved into the hallway, grabbing a hold of his wand from the kitchen counter. The dog that resided in the apartment rose from it’s laying position, quirking her head at him as he moved about. He had wasted a lot of time taking her for a walk before he decided to get ready, since he had woken up at an ungodly hour that morning. It was usually when he got up for work. “Legte sich hin.” He said in a stern voice, pointing to the ground to remind her just what the command met. She followed his orders without hesitation, which made him move over to the Doberman, giving her a casual scratch behind the ears before he apparated over to Cecilia’s apartment.

He made sure to appear outside, unlocking the door with the simple spell before he pushed it open. He moved quietly, not wanting to wake her up just. It was obvious that she was still sleeping, since she wasn’t freaking out about someone just walking into her apartment. The thought of someone who wasn’t him showing up to Cecilia’s place without any warning made him worry for a moment, but decided that he was just overreacting. Maybe he’d bring up his concerns later, at a better time.

He crossed to the bedroom and slowly turned the doorknob, pushing it open. He had been trained to move quietly, to sneak around a house occupied with people and not be heard…so it was very easy to not disturb her with a simple act like opening the door. She was curled up on one side of the bed, the side closest to him. He watched as she took long, deep breaths, leaning against the doorframe as he took in how peaceful she looked. It wasn’t the first time he had seen her sleep, but it was the first time he really got to appreciate it. He wasn’t in a rush to be anywhere.

Moving quietly around the bed, Evan moved himself to lie on the bed beside her. He carefully got closer to her, resting his elbow on the pillow, the other hand moving to her arm to let his fingertips cascading down her soft skin while he moved to kiss her shoulder, softly. She’d probably get a bit of a chill from his touch, and might even stir because of the kiss, but he wasn’t sure if that was enough to wake her up. So, he placed another kiss higher up on her neck, and then another one even higher near her the back of her jaw, his arm sliding around her middle once he noticed her shift, clearly waking up from her peaceful slumber.

When she had told him to come wake her up, nowhere in Cecilia's mind had the thought been that he would actually do it. She didn't really even know why she didn't think that he would either, just... it didn't seem like it was likely to happen. So as she began to flutter back into consciousness courtesy of the comforting soft kisses and touches that drifted through her sleep-hazed senses, Cecilia was almost certain that she was still dreaming.

She shifted, burying her face a little further into her pillow and attempting to fall deeper asleep--because if this was a dream, she most certainly didn't want to wake up. But the warmth of someone's lips pressed into her neck, her jaw, and she felt something strong wrap around her, and she had flitted her eyes open before even realizing she had.

Wait--had she said she didn't want to wake up? Because right now, waking up was looking pretty damn good.

A drowsy smile spread across Cecilia's face and she tilted her head to catch the sight of her as of now officially amazing boyfriend. Silhouetted by the morning light shining through her windows, she had to blink to focus in on his face, and yet she was still pretty sure it was one of the best things she'd ever seen.

"Ten points, Rosier," she mumbled in amusement.

If he had to be completely honest, he hadn’t thought he was going to come, either. It wasn’t necessarily like him, to skip work, or sneak into Cecilia’s apartment early in the morning before she woke up. But with the way everything was going at work lately, he really just…needed a break. He needed to get away, and go somewhere that wasn’t a vacation spot, since that usually required him to do work while he was there anyway. And as much as he hated to admit it, since it sounded sappy as all hell, the only person he really wanted to be around on his day off was her.

He continued to hold onto her as she moved around, the final kiss being placed on her cheek as those brilliant hazel eyes blinked open. Nothing was said on his end for a while, and he just laid there in silence, the only noise being the rustling of sheets as she adjusted herself to look at him. It was always an amazing thing, to see Cecilia smile. Especially when he was the cause of it, since it was so fucking rare that he was. Her words caused him to give her a smirk, while the fingers that had been trailing down her arm just a moment ago were pushing back her hair, tangling themselves in her brunette locks. “Did you sleep well?” His voice was quiet as he spoke, knowing that she was still drowsy, and wouldn’t want him talking so loudly first thing in the morning. Not that the boy was loud to begin with, but it’s the thought that counts.
