Our brother has passed. No announcement of his death is to be made. His remains are entombed near the northeast garden wall. The grave has no stone but is marked by a flitterbloom.

There is absolutely no way that mother and father would allow Mattias to simply be put in the ground--oh God Oh God---- without a proper burial--surely you-, surely you jest and I am not amused at all But you don't joke you never joke why would you do this to me He is not dead but I cannot leave until John gets home THORFINN--

Your writing is harried. Distress is unwise in a woman with child. Calm yourself; think of the welfare of your unborn heir.

You will accept the truth of this death. As you know, the real Mattias Drew Rowle was killed with a kiss so very long ago. He was survived by his soulless body which lived, died, and will remain in seclusion. Our brother's isolation has always been in his and the family's best interests.
