owl to nora peakes

I'm going to assume this is in fact that madcap redhead I was dragged into a cave by. A goblin associate of mine heard of my—or should I say our—dragon antics and gifted me with this small token of his snide enjoyment of the tale. I've not got much use for trifles and tokens and such, so I thought you'd appreciate it more.

But I will be honest, it was most likely presented to me as a bit of a tongue-in-cheek insult. At least it's a pretty one, eh?

—Nicodemo

(If this is in fact not Nora, but that old grabby Regulation witch, I implore you to keep this token in lieu of ever pinching my arse again)

(If this is not either of the aforementioned witches, give me my dragon back, you thief. It's got a serial number on it, I will be able to find you)

Who are you calling grabby?!

No, I'm kidding! This is indeed Nora, and I will take being called a madcap redhead as a compliment. The dragon is beautiful, thank you so much for thinking of me! I reckon it looks like Norwegian Ridgeback; those are a bit less fire-friendly than the Hebridean...if you're into that kind of thing.

But thank you again! I would like to treat you to lunch, for saving my life with that push down the very steep hill.

You had me fearing for my life.

I have literally zero idea about these things, as if they breathe fire or anything other than just air, I make it a point to avoid them, but I will take your word for it.

Make that a picnic lunch, and you have yourself a deal.

A picnic lunch? I think I can handle that.

Sunday, at noon! Meet me at the Leaky Cauldron.
