ok so thoughts on possibly casting thatcher in gatsby as nick? as it is i have him lined up for savages as a way of repaying his daddy for lending him his legal team last month, but i think if thatcher had to go back into acting as a favor to someone, he would rather do it with adam who gave him his most pleasant work experience to date. it would be a major favor to thatcher if it did happen. BUT if you aren't comfortable with it/don't think it's realistic/don't like it PLEASE do not hesitate to tell me no diaf i don't like it. and i won't be at all offended or bothered (promise).

LOOK OKAY. LOOK. adam just might cry. okay, not cry, but he would get teary eyed about it because now that the role is up again, i have to pretend that they've been searching for-fucking-ever for a nick and at this point he's like, "my career is going to be over because now i have to play nick and i can't act!" and so, if thatch offered to play the role - yes, teary eyed-ness. i don't think it's unrealistic at all, actually. i think it's a perfect fit. especially personality wise because nick was just this by-stander thrown into this craziness and he was the most level-headed, logical one in the bunch and i'm going to stop now. but DO IT.

ok, ok, no tears, adam. i'm going to put in a request right now. hopefully it will get approved soon. he'll drop from savages once i get it confirmed and he'll be relieved that he's making a decent film with someone he trusts that will get some acclaim which will make his dad stfu. that and you don't have to worry about me dying off since i've been here... forever. but great! everything is the best.
