[He pauses just as he's lifting a foot to attempt to walk and glances over at the doorway where he hears Allen's voice. Then laughs weakly, looking back down at his feet.]
'm jus' tired o' no' bein able ta do anythin. [Doesn't dare ask for the vampire's help, not when he knows Allen is still withdrawn even with a month having gone by. It's enough to have his company because Chase never wants to show Allen his bad sides now. He shifts the foot forward and puts it down.] Besides, they said all tha nerves were fine, jus' tha bone tha' needed healin.
