It definitely is. Allen stiffens again as Chase says that, eyes squeezing shut, but... that isn't because of Chase. It's the memory; it still gave him nightmares, still terrified him, nearly a year later. Maybe even more so now that Whitey wasn't really here anymore... couldn't pull him out again.
Even back then, he knew Chase well. Well enough to know that having a Fourteenth in his head meant he would be utterly shunned. But his eyes open again when Chase says that, and Allen turns his face slightly to hide it against his chest.] ...then what do we do?
