My Characters: Part Five
Hopefully this is the last installment of my character listing (I could do one for my defunct lovelies whom I miss, but honestly, they're defunct/retired and unless I play them again it's just a trip down memory lane). This stop on the RP Character Party Train brings us to the tarot game, which is still in a state of flux considering the move to scribbld and my lack of desire to move it myself. Not that I don't love it, but I've struggled moderating this game effectively every single time we've played it. Which... I think we're going on round 3.
I don't know if I'll finish this one today. My eyes are starting to get tired. :D
Arcane Kingdom AKA: The Tarot Game.
We've played this game several time, creating characters based loosely on tarot cards and then sending them into war with each other. I've been the House of Cups every time, though I've inherited some Major Arcana along the way (and once had part of the Runic Kingdom). If the game picks up again I'm giving Becky and Sass control of it.
The House of Cups A house that prides itself for family loyalty and passion. They are people driven by what they love and are honor bound to their King.
The House Arcana A house bound by its own rules and filled with strong personalities. Ruled by the Emperor and Empress, each member of this scattered house has the strength and determination to strike out on their own.
NPCs Most of these were formerly cards in the previous incarnations of the game. Having been duds or difficult to play they were relegated to NPCs in this game and no longer hold the card they originally did. Most of them are dead, but have a big enough impact to still be listed.
| Princess Yuna Westerveldt Formerly: Ten of Cups An accomplished princess and the youngest daughter in the House of Cups. |
| Midori Tanaka Formerly: Five of Cups Ume's elder sister, mother of the deceased Kenshin, Midori has always been a serious downer. |
| Aragon Seabrooke Formerly: The Devil Fiona's fiance. He died in the Great War, possibly at the hand of Azrael Seward, Fiona's father. |
| Kenshin Tanaka Formerly: The Lovers Princess Rikku's husband. He died in the Great War. |
| Nimue Hale Formerly: The Star A former "entertainer," the mother of Kimiko Hale. She died in a brothel. |
| Emir Nazim Harith Rightfully: The King of Cups Harith is presumed dead at the end of the Great War, but he is actually on a secret mission in the Runic Kingdom. He is the rightful heir to the throne of cups, but his position is dangerous considering the politics involved. |
