Albus and Kit were inseperable. Even if they'd only been together for six months, Albus felt like he knew Kit so well. Like they'd spent their entire lives together. And he liked it that way. It felt special and perfect and no one could take it away from him ever. They were going to be an unstoppable force and they were going to be together forever. And adopt babies. And throw lavish, gay parties.
They were sitting at the piano in the choir room, both playing a few keys and warming up their voices so they could practice on their duet. But, Kit was very distracting and kept bumping his shoulder. Albus laughed and bumped him back, singing his part of Come What May. He stopped and leaned in, pressing their lips together.
"What was that for?" Kit asked, grinning so big his cheeks hurt. Nothing felt better than when Albus kissed him. And it wasn't like he meant to distract him. He just
needed to distract him.
"For being perfect." Albus informed Kit, giving him a smitten look. "And for having a beautiful voice. A beautiful face. Complete and utter outrageous and raw talent. And most of all, for being my boyfriend." He kissed him again, resting a hand on Kit's waist. He really kissed him, deeply and passionately and after a long moment, he pulled back to look at Kit's flushed cheeks.
"I don't know why you think all those things about me." Kit told him shyly. "You're a thousand times more talented than I am. You look better. You have a much better body. I
do have better hair than you do." He snorted at that and bumped their shoulders again.
Albus shook his head, continuing to smile at Kit. "I tell you all those things and I wholeheartedly believe all those things." He brushed their lips together, his heart beating fast. "I tell you all those things because I love you."
Kit was shocked at that. Albus loved him. A small smile spread across his lips, his heart skipping a beat as he looked back at his boyfriend.
His boyfriend. "I love you too."
