Sindella combed through the books in the library at Shadowcrest. Out of all of the rooms in the mystical manor, it was her favorite, as the volumes of spellbooks were rather extensive and Sindella could spend hours in there and never get bored. Actually, Mom had had to come drag her out of it several times, mostly for a meal or to sleep.
"I'm telling you Mr. President," Sindella said as she pulled a rather large leather-bound book from off the shelf, "I could just live in here." A pause. "Actually, I think I will. I don't think Mom would mind if I just moved my bed in here....."
And there went Abraham Lincoln, telling her that her mother would be sorely displeased with her if she moved her entire room into the library.
"Yeah, I know that she uses, it! But, it's not like she uses it All The Time. She's got all of the magical know-how. I think she's already read every book in here anyhow...."
Sindella paused, as Abe continued to tell her that transferring her bedroom in the library would be a bad idea.
"Yes, I would manage to get a decent night's sleep. Maybe. I can live off of a couple hours. Okay, I wouldn't sleep at all."
Sindella sighed. Once again, Honest Abe managed to talk her out of doing something that really wasn't in her best interests.
"It's okay, Mr. President, I'll still read to you Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I know how much you enjoy it."
