Basic Personality: Lily is an extremely loving, passionate girl. She plays by the rules and enjoys being adored; however, she can put rules and niceties aside in order to remain loyal to friends and family. Brave and true, Lily has always felt it was her duty to stand up for those who lack the confidence or abilities to stand up for themselves. That's not to say Lily doesn't have faults: Lily can suffer from severe jealousy ("Who does that girl think she is, staring at Severus like that?"), a hot temper ("How DARE you, Potter!"), and terrible stubbornness ("YEAH-HUH!"). Lily also suffers from naivety, and often believes in the good in people when really, she shouldn't.
For the most part, Lily is fairly shy. It takes a bit for her to warm up to new people, but once she's comfortable around you, she can really shine. So while she may normally seem very calm and reserved, there are the rare occasions when she lets herself go. She's extremely modest, so much it can get annoying: Lily finds it very difficult to accept a compliment.
Lily's exceptionally talented in Potions, but lacks abilities in a few other places, including dueling. While her charms and defense spells are up to par, Lily has difficulty thinking on the spot. She often feels frozen, and while her opponent can quickly attack, she feels a bit like a deer in headlights.
Finally, Lily's stubbornness makes her the perfect person to fight for causes. If she and Hermione ever got together, S.P.E.W. would become a World Wide Campaign. What talent Lily has she uses to better others, not just herself (as shown through her commitment to tutoring).
History: Born in a lowerclass, industrialized area of England, Lily never had much growing up. She had to find her own ways to amuse herself, and to her surprise, it was during these hours of boredom that things would happen: objects would levitate; lights would flicker; flowers would blood. With these gifts, Lily entertained herself and her sister while other children enjoyed the luxuries of wealth. The day Severus Snape, that sickly looking boy from Spinners End, told her she was a witch, life changed for Lily. Petunia became second to Snape. His knowledge helped her hone her skills. Her protective nature grew stronger as she watched people tease Severus. To this day, he remains a faithful friend to Lily, and she will never forget his acceptance and kindness.
It was with great fear that Lily sat beneath the Sorting Hat. Her desire to understand herself better kept her from ever admitting to the Hat that she wanted to be wherever Severus ended up; she listened intently as it noted her bravery, her loyalty, and her kindness (and temper, of course). Ever since being sorted in Gryffindor, Lily has striven to prove herself as brave as the stereotype suggests.
In her past few years at Hogwarts, Lily has painfully lost the support of her sister, who was once her best friend. Losing Petunia's friendship has made Lily a bit tougher-skinned and more ready to call people out when they betray others. If Lily were sorted again, she may be put into Hufflepuff: loyalty has become a huge issue for her.
Hobbies: Charms Club, Potions Club, tutoring, Slug Club.
Patronus: Gazelle: elegant, graceful, with horns and a kick that can be extremely painful.
Boggart: A vampire. A really good-looking, charismatic vampire. Ohhh, they just suck you in~~

Has anything changed about your character?: Lily has changed in that she never loses Severus as a friend. Also, I think the main consensus was that Lily was a good in sticky situations, since she was part of the Order. This... is so not true for my Lily. She freezes on the spot.
How do you feel that would affect his/her relationships?: This lasting commitment makes it much harder for James to make it into Lily's life, and indeed, Lily finds herself seeing Severus as more than "just a friend" as the years progress.
Any future events that you would like to see and/or change from canon?: NO HARRY POTTAH. D:

Gryffindor Aquarians are the social activists and loons of their House. They'll picket for House Elf Liberation. They'll wear their robes inside out because they spent all night reading, not pay attention to how they dressed the next day, and not care if their rumpled appearance is pointed out to them. They are intellectual rebels and will loudly defend their opinions, even if doing so makes enemies. They are apt to question authority. "Even Merlin was wrong, some of the time," they'll say, shrugging. While not particularly good at dealing with crisis situations (they stress out easily) they do tend to have enough foresight to see the situations coming, and prevent them from happening in the first place. They can be flamboyantly talented, but are less interested in using their talent to "make it big" than in using it to make a better life for themselves or other people. Because Gryffindor tends to be a flamboyant house, these oddballs (they are always odd) tend to stick out for being unusual.
Example Journal Entry: I read an article in the Prophet today by Baggins, who discussed the growing tension of these blood-relations people keep going on about. In the end, he said: "The fight for blood-rights will end in bloodshed." I can't believe that would be true. No one will let it get that bad, will they? Dumbledore wouldn't, at least, and our new Minister seems quite fit to keep the peace. I can't believe that grown adults would allow it to come to war.
War. Even writing it feels silly. What a silly thing, war! Silly silly. Goofy, goofy. It won't happen. It's too ridiculous.

Example Roleplay Entry: It wasn't enough that Potter had acted like an idiot, but he had to pull Lily into his prank this time, and she sat in McGonagall's office convinced that she was about to be expelled. She'd never been yelled at McGonagall, and she wondered if her skin would melt or head would explode. Maybe McGonagall's tartan robes would leap up and strangle her--
"Evans?"
Lily was snapped from the terrifying image of killer tartan when James said her name. She looked at him with a scowel, but didn't reply.
"Look, I'm sorry, okay? Things got a little out of hand and oh no you got in trouble, but hey, now you're an actual teenager and not some fifty-year-old!"
Lily continued to glare at him with her green eyes.
"You have to admit, you had a little bit of fun."
"I absolutely did not!" Lily gasped, offended by his assumption. "You're horrible, did you know that? You're selfish, and conceeded and rude, and--"
"All right, I get it."
James turned away from her and put his attention back on McGonagall's desk, and for a brief second, Lily felt bad. Maybe she was a bit harsh--after all, he was only trying to apologize.
