See, the Gryffindors weren't after the cup because it was pretty. We didn't need it all spruced up. You Ravenclaws are just spoiled. IT MATTERS BECAUSE OF WHAT IT STANDS FOR, NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!
But the cup totally looked better for us anyway.
