Doctor Who Season Finale - Part 2

I wish I felt that same jubilation at the end of this episode as I did last week when I finished watching THE STOLEN EARTH but alas I do not. I don't come anywhere close to to feeling that jubilation.

*sighs*

Let's see I got no satisfaction on...

The final ending with the Doctor, Rose, and Doctor-but-not-Doctor clone. What was RTD on when he wrote this scene? Also I am so miffed with the Doctor I don't know where to start! He was given such a rare precious gift from the universe in that he got to see Rose again. He got to actually feel and touch her again and when the time comes the idiot cannot say those three little words to her. Honestly I would love to kick his Time Lord butt right about now HARD and then smack RTD over the head and ask him what is with him? I mean this man claims he shipped the Doctor and Rose but yet comes up with this craptastic ending for them!

  • I also found no satisfaction with Rose and Jack. Umm, I was under the impression Jack and Rose loved each other as friends. They haven't seen each other for ever so long and when they do there's hardly a reaction from either of them much less words of a personal nature exchanged. I know with an episode packed like this there wouldn't hardly be any time for something of that nature but good grief if they found time to let Mickey and Jack swap friendly insults then there should have been something more substantial between Rose and Jack too!

  • Oh and another thing RTD was on something when he wrote the finale because the Doctor has never ever in all his centuries of living had any amount of control over his regeneration cycles and yet he's able to use this one's energy to heal himself before casting the rest off to his hand in the jar? Oh yeah right! I'm sorry but that one was a bit far fetched but also see my comments below regarding David Tennant.

Before Rose Tyler I never ever shipped the Doctor with any of his companions and after seeing this episode I know for certain it will never ever happen again. It was a special 4 years for me but it's over and done.

Oh well I suppose I should just be grateful that we didn't lose Ten or David Tennant in this madness.

Lastly while I am grateful to RTD for reviving and updating Doctor Who I am going to start up a countdown marking down the days until Steven Moffat takes the reins. It is time I think – I just hope besides not scaring the life out of us every week, Moffat also will not keep this weekly ritual of torturing the Doctor going. Enough with piling the mountains of angst on the last of the Time Lords!

Proper Doctor didn't say "I love you", so the Humanish Doctor could and Rose would maybe accept him or something. I don't know.

It still doesn't stop me from wanting to give the Doctor a good hard kick in his Time Lord posterior.

I agree, and that line " It doesn't need to be said, now!!!" Why didn't DONNA smack him!!! Come on that is sooo something she would have/should have smacked him over. Oh I hope Moffatt does good to, having just read his Ten/Martha fan novel "The Pirate Loop" which I loved! _I have never loved a fan novel that much it was just fun_ I am giddy over the idea of what he will do. All though I hope every episode isn't pirate badgers, and colorful talking octipoi.

Yeah that was a bit out of character for Donna not to smack him. I mean HELLO she saw how broken he was just moments after he lost Rose. She should have smacked him a good one and told him "Oi! You do things properly and tell her how you feel about her!"

I am hoping for a real change when Moffat takes over. For example I am hoping he won't continue RTD's tradition of heaping angst on the Doctor on a weekly basis because Time Lord or not the Doctor is going to cave in to it at some point.
