Oh, he's returning that kiss. Very much so. He's spent in a way he's never felt, but it's an amazing kind of spent.

Derek moves himself off, but stays on the bed. He pulls Anya close to him and runs a hand through her red hair.

"I'll stay. I'll stay as long as you like, baobei."

It's a word that Dereks dad used. It meant "sweetheart". That's what Anya felt to him.
