Arthur Kirkland ([info]arthurkirkland) wrote,
"Ah. I see," Arthur said as he looked away. He managed to get rid of his surprised look and tone, replacing it with a rather apathetic attitude. He thought about mentioning something else, something to remind Alfred exactly where the soldiers were from, but the long day of work and disappointment of being stuck somewhere he'd rather not be had drained his energy to fight it. If Alfred didn't remember, then why should Arthur care? Either way, America was already up and answering the doorbell.

"I'm not sure I want to know what that was about," England said calmly to Canada at the foreign terminology America had used. "But I don't suppose you two have any tea here?"

"Tea, from Amerique?" France laughed lightly. "You are funny, Angelterre."

Right, what was he thinking? England shook his head. "Never mind, I have some with me in my suitcase."
