  I want to thank everyone for your well-wishes, even if I haven't answered you personally. It makes all the difference in the world, guys.

In a little bit I'll be heading out to pick up some soups from Wheatsville and go to the hospital to register for the operation. I'll know then what time I have to go in and, hopefully, about when it should be done.

So, I just got home from the registration at the hospital.

I have to be there at 8:45 Thursday morning. I'll be there overnight, and get out sometime Friday morning. I'm not supposed to bring my wallet.

I'm not allowed to wear any metal, so either later today or tomorrow I need to go to the piercing place and see if I can get some retainers, to save at least some of my piercings.


...overnight in the hospital. Fuck. Well, thanks to [info]shantih I have some hospital reading.
