[info]kleenexwoman posted about making bacon cookies. Since I liked the Vosges bacon chocolate bar, they sound pretty neat. If I can force myself out of my nuke-everything inertia, I should give them a shot.

The fingers sting a bit, but my little moons still look awesome. I've smeared them with my usual tattoo-healing goop (Country Comfort Herbal Savvy Goldenseal-Myrrh; it was reccomended to me when I got my pentacle tattoo at a nice shop whose name I'm blanking on in San Francisco and it's worked well so far). I need to go downtown and mail a BPAL swap (well, I'm swapping a tarot deck I bought remaindered at Half Price Books, looked at once and never used, for a bottle of Harlot) and a thank-you note to my grandparents and deposit a check, but the forecast for today says rain so I might go tomorrow instead. We shall see. Perhaps I shall treat myself to a latte and get a bus schedule.

I use parentheses a lot.

Hecate seems inordinately interested in the goldenseal-myrrh ointment on my moon tattoos, what?

The threatened rain never came, and I got my errands done. Package and card mailed, bus schedule obtained, iced latte savored, check deposited. I couldn't help but snickering upon noticing the bar on Congress called Light. If I could still drink, I don't think I could resist the urge to go in and nurse a rum and coke while furiously scribbling names in a black notebook. Possibly while eating potato chips.

I was able to resist the urge to go to Whole Foods. I did wind up ordering what I'd been planning on getting there (some fancy chocolate, I'm hooked) online, but at least that way I was spared the risk of succumbing to half a dozen other impulse buys. So I was clever about that, I think.
