Yep. Woke up before 6, haven't been able to get back to sleep.
I'm all stiff and achy. I suspect it's because it is significantly colder today than it's been the past few days. According to Yahoo weather, it's 36 degrees, which is winter-cold as opposed to Texas-winter. Boo. If I have to suffer through brutally hot summers, I want my damned mild winters.
Sleeeeeeeepy. But I'm so sore and creaky that lying down is more uncomfortable than sitting. I feel decidedly old and busted.
I'm messing around with my desktop. I haven't changed my wallpaper yet (it's a Mythchan pic tweaked and recolored to look Nny-ish) but I've changed my screensaver to a bunch of Death Note fanart (of L, and L/Light, some very explicit... the perks of living alone!) and some of the desktop icons to DN-themed ones. I'm probably going to switch my event sounds around a bit when/if I find some I like. |

I'm back to feeling like I was before the operation (but not how I did during a gallstone attack!). Laparascopic surgery really is amazing. The incisions are pretty much healed and don't look like surgical wounds at all. I doubt they'll scar at all. I've had nastier-looking cat scratches. Tomorrow I see Dr. Rios for my follow-up visit. I only met him for a few moments before the surgery (when he introduced himself, and agreed with the nurse who said the labret retainer would have to come out during the operation) and the next day when he asked a few questions and pronounced me fit to leave. He seemed fairly un-assholish, though. |
