Litterboxes are emptied and incense (vanilla, nutmeg, and cardamom tea) has been burned in the bedroom. Gelt is in the aromatherapy diffuser. My elbows and ankles have been rubbed smooth with sugar scrub. My armpits have been shaved... if he wants anything else shaved, he can do it himself. Condoms and spermicide have been tucked discreetly yet conveniently near the bed. And I am about to take a long, scented bath with some "inspirational" reading.
It's entirely possible the planning will be more fun than the date. But I hope not! |
