HISTORY.

1961— Born!

1969— August; Older brother William receives a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! The muggleborns are shocked, but it does explain some of the strangeness that has occurred throughout their young lives!

1973— Begins Hogwarts education! Jake is sorted into Gryffindor and is in awe of the magical world. He is very outgoing and makes plenty of friends.

1979— August; M.A.G.I.C. laws enforced! Muggleborn students are separated for their 'protection.' Jake instead causes loud outbursts in class and generally creates scenes in protest of the separation. Receives plenty a treat from Professor McGonagall.

1980— June; Graduates from Hogwarts! Having received his acceptance letter into the Auror program a few weeks before, Jake is ready and raring to enter the real world.

1980— August; Death Eater caused earthquake strikes Diagon Alley and Jake is thrust out of training early.

1981— June; The Bones family is murdered in their home. Jake is on the team sent out after the Death Eaters who did it and they are ambushed. With tensions running higher than ever, Unforgivable Curses are being thrown from both sides, though Jake had vowed to never use one. Unfortunately for him the Death Eaters don't have the same sort of pride and he is subjected to an extensive amount of time under the Cruciatus and left unconscious in the warehouse over night where the battle had taken place. He is found early the next morning by a recovery squad. Surprised to find him alive, they rush him to St. Mungo's.

1981— Summer; A long and draining few months in St. Mungo's suffering from nightmares and hallucinations. Various potions are provided to help his recovery, and while Jake is functional his mind has been permanently altered from the torture.

1981— Fall; Moves in with his brother so he can get back on his feet. Few attempts are made to let Jake go back on the field, they don't go too well for him.

1981— November; Harry Potter defeats the Dark Lord. Jake takes a desk job within the Ministry to help him cope with his issues.

1982— February; The Longbottoms are tortured into insanity by the Cruciatus. Jake takes this attack very hard and reverts into silence for an extended about of time.

1984— Summer; Healer Dedalus Diggle is heading a new method having to do with mental spell damage and William signs Jake up for the clinical trial.

1984— December; After becoming friends with his old roommate Ollie, the two travel to try and find the child of Ollie and Nona that Nona gave up a few years prior. They're unsuccessful and return for New Year's. At a New Year's party, Jake's wearing the matching hexed mask to Charlotte Sweeting, and they kiss at midnight. Another friendship rekindled.

1985— January; Moves in with Ollie.

1985— May; Due to pressure on the auror department, Jake is put into physical rehabilitation to get back on the field. Cue panic attacks.
