Gelsey Kennicot ([info]kennicot) wrote in [info]baddock,
Happy Christmas to you, Malcolm! I hope it was very cheery! My mum and I sat by the fire and read The Night Before Christmas like we always do, and it reminded me that when I was small, I used to be so worried about the reindeer, and then I felt just horrible for poor Rudolph because he's not listed at all in that poem! It's Dancer and Dasher and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donder and Blitzen--but where's Rudolph! He saved Santa and all of Christmas, why can't we include him in the poem! It's just as bad as not letting Rudolph play any reindeer games, which I always figured was hide and seek and chess, but maybe reindeers have their own versions of games, like there is wizarding chess and gobstones, you can never be sure, and the reindeers don't seem willing to talk about it, which is a shame, for I'd love to play their games, and I would be sure to include Rudolph, thank you!
