Someone wrote in [info]beanon,
i need advice
so long story short, i have a friend who i like a LOT, and he has a girlfriend. i know he's attracted to me as well, and he knows i like him. he's a naturally flirtatious person, so whenever we're together we flirt nonstop, and i've been seeing him a lot lately.

every time this happens, i like him more and more, and it's really starting to get to me that i can't be with him. i'm really starting to think i need to talk to him about this, and to tell him that we can't keep flirting with each other and laughing it off like a joke, because it's really starting to hurt me.

so basically, how can i bring this up to him in a way that won't make our friendship super awkward and ruin it? and how can i let him know that i don't want to flirt with him anymore and just want to be his friend, but also would be open to something happening to us if he ever broke up with his girlfriend?

yes i also posted this in anonq but i figured i might get some answers here too
