Bill is rather an attractive young man - not that he goes around boasting or anything, Bill is modest. He has the red hair which is trademarked to all Weasleys, however, his varies in shade depending on how much time he spends in the sun. From a light fiery red to almost auburn, particularly if he has spent quite a number of days tomb raiding (like a male ginger version of Lara Croft, with magic powers and no boobs). He wears it longer than his mother is pleased with but not too long or it'd get in the way while he is curse breaking.

He is not overly fussed over his appearance and often has a bit of a scruffy look about him which girls seem to like, apparently. His nose curves slightly to the right from when he broke it building a fort in the back garden with Charlie and his eyes are a kind blue. Bill tends to always look at ease with the world and his surroundings, although inside his mind is always thinking over something.

Bill is the third tallest of the Weasley siblings. He is not as tall as either Ron or Percy, but not as short as Charlie, the Twins or Ginny - standing at roughly 5'11 and a third. While not lanky, Bill wouldn't be considered stocky like Charlie and the Twins, but he does carry a bit of muscle thanks to his job. (Can't go running about being Indiana Jones a Curse Breaker and not get any bulk).

Clothes wise, Bill opts for t-shirts, jeans and dragon hide boots (he loves his boots). He also owns a leather jacket (only one, he is not leather obsessed like Fred) and a few dress robes to wear on fancy occasions. For work, Bill doesn't have to wear a uniform or robes of any sort because they would be impractical while adventuring in pyramids.

After spending a number of years in Egypt, Bill has a slight golden tan - although, one could argue they are just his freckles all joined up. He still has his ear pierced but only breaks out the dragon fang earring when visiting home cause he knows his mother hates it - Bill is a bit of a stirrer, but not as much as the Twins.

Personality.

Bill is often described as the 'cool' big brother. He is fairly laid back and easy going but also has a serious side if the need arises. Despite being the eldest of seven children and carrying the responsibilities that come with that, Bill has a good sense of humour and knows how to have fun.

He is highly intelligent, earning 12 OWLs in his fifth year, and also quite the academic achiever, being both Prefect and Head Boy during his time at Hogwarts. However, despite these accolades, Bill is by no means stuffy and boring. He knows that rules can be bent a little and tries his best not to judge and keep an open mind.

Bill is highly protective of his family and would do anything for them. He seems to have a disregard for his own safety when it comes to protecting them - a fact which has lead to quite a number of disproving talks from Molly. He is also a bit of a peacekeeper between his siblings when they squabble amongst themselves. He tries to be the big brother they could all turn to in their time of need for advice or even just a distracting chat.

Growing up poor has instilled Bill with the knowledge that he has to work hard for what he has got. Being the eldest and quite intelligent for his age, Bill knew how much his parents sacrificed just so he and his siblings could have a roof over their head and food on their plates. He has learnt the value of things and hates seeing things go to waste - his house, Shell Cottage, while empty most of the time is the only real indulgence he has.

LIKES: Adventures, solving puzzles and mysteries, dragon hide boots, his mum's cooking, foreign languages (especially swearing in them), the Weird Sisters' music.
DISLIKES: His mum telling him to cut his hair, being overly fussed over, goblins (to an extent), not being able to solve a difficult puzzle.
HABITS: He drinks as much as any normal Weasley, he puts others' needs before his own, enjoys a good round of table jousting every now and then.
VICES: Drinks, doesn't seemed bothered putting himself in harm's way if it means protecting someone else.

History.

Bill Weasley was born eleven and a half months after his parents eloped at the end of 1969 on 29th November, 1970. He was a fairly easy going child who had his parents all to himself until he turned two and Charlie was born. He can't remember any of the time he was an only child, though - only what his parents told him.

Once Charlie was old enough to play, the pair were the best of friends - building forts out of sticks in the back garden, chasing gnomes, going on adventures. Bill loved to explore and had an inquisitive nature from the word go. And soon, they gained another sibling in Percy and Bill, being the oldest at 5 and a bit, wanted to help his parents out with the new baby anyway he could. He was often found seated on the sofa with Charlie - Percy propped up between them - reading to his younger brothers.

The year Bill was turning eight the Twins were born and they were a handful. Being a little older, Bill could help his parents out more and once the Twins were running (because they didn't stop at learning to walk - they just skipped it and went straight to running), Bill was a professional at catching his little brothers and making them sit somewhat still enough to eat their dinner.

In 1980, he gained another brother, Ron and in 1981 (just before he left for his first year at Hogwarts) he gained a little sister, Ginny. At seven kids, the Weasley family were complete. And Bill loved every one of his siblings and helped each of them in a different way. He was the one that taught Charlie how to build the best forts. He taught Percy to read. He taught Ron how to tie his shoe laces and Ginny how to get back at the others for playing pranks on her. As for the twins, he claims no responsibility for teaching them anything - they were already corrupted. (Actually, he taught them some useful repair charms so their Mum didn't catch on they were destroying things, eg: parts of the house).

At school, Bill was sorted into Gryffindor and shared a dorm with future Weird Sister, Kirley Duke. Bill was pretty popular in school, often seen as one of the cool kids. He was also pretty smart and earned 12 OWLs in his fifth year. Also, he was a Prefect and made Head Boy in his seventh.

After school, Bill could have gained a job anywhere he wanted but his love of adventure won out and he became a trainee Curse Breaker at Gringotts. He trained for two years in various spots all over the world before landing a full-time spot in Cairo, Egypt. He worked hard and it wasn't long before he became a Head Curse Breaker and training his own trainees.

He gets along alright with the goblins that employee him - well, as alright as any wizard gets along with a goblin. However, it is definitely the sense of adventure and puzzle solving in breaking curses that keeps in working. He comes home for visits occasionally and even owns his own house in the UK in Tinworth, Cornwall, but currently he is based near the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.
