Henry holds tight to Josh through the trip, but he's glad it doesn't take long. Once they're there, he gently brushes Josh's hair. "We're here. You made it. Now comes the easy part."

Josh holds tight to the others and hides his face the whole trip. When they arrive, he peeks his head up and glances at thew planet. "Wow..."

"Starhaven is.. really neat." replies Avalon with a smile. They start to drift gently towards the planet, his eyes turning to the teens he has in tow. "Things are simple here, the people live with minimal technology - by choice. They have access to technology far more advanced than Earth's, but they prefer to live off the land and hunt and fish."

He sighs then, his tone soft as he says "Sometimes I wonder why my father chose to stay on Naltor.. He told me once that the future that my mother saw was so compelling that he could not deny it. That he was honored to be a part of that future."

Henry doesn't have much to say. He just looks down at the world, holding tight to Josh as they descend.

"Lead away," he tells Avalon.

"Metahumans," Josh murmurs softly, senses adapting to the new planet. "This planet feels...amazing," he remarks as the descend.

The comment of metahumans causes Avalon to mentally pause, and he hems softly as they find their way down throughthe atmosphere. "isn't that what you call a person from Earth with powers?" he asks curiously.

Henry nods. "Yeah..."

Josh bites his lip and nods. "Y-yeah," he echos. "I'm sensing...a lot of them. Here on the planet..." he trails off softly.

"That's really odd." replies Avalon mildly. "No wonder you thought I was half human the first time we met." he then says, though there is curiosity in his voice. "I wonder how that all came to be.."

They come down to the surface of the planet and then start to move across the untouched wilderness, floating towards what looks like a big settlement of futuristic wigwams and tall cylindrical buildings. Avalon seems to know where he is going, and heads for a specific home, landing them on a raised platform in front of the door. He explains "This is my father's family's central home.. Well. Our central family home. You are both part of that family once we pass this test."

"Ring?" Henry asks.

Henry blinks. "Huh. Okay. I can see that."

Josh blinks at the explanation from Henry's ring. "Umm..." he trails off, looking out at the planet and then Avalon. "Well that explains it," he shrugs.

"This place is awesome, Ava," he says, looking up at the house.

The ring's news is shocking to Avalon, and he all but stumbles as his feet touch down on the raised platform. He blinks at Henry, his eyes owlishly wide, unable to quite believe what the ring is saying. "Wait. They're from Earth?" he asks softly, forcing himself to breathe. If there was some sort of way to knock him over with a feather, one could quite easily do that.

He looks between the two boys, then forces himself to take a breath and step towards the door, leading the other two in - this is certainly not something that he feels is worth speaking about outside.

The inside of the wigwam is quite warm and comfortable. The walls are smooth and made of a plastic-like material. The ceiling is opaque form the outside but transparent within, giving a full view of the sky. Within, Sunsinger is working at a fire hearth, cooking what appears to be a meal.

"Greetings!" Ava calls, before he then grins to the boys and says "We just discovered something terribly exciting.. "

Henry remains quiet and respectful, standing just behind Avalon to his right.

Josh stands on Avalon's left, keeping quiet as well.

Sunsinger gives a smile to the boys and comes forward, greeting them all with a hand pressed to their chests. He then steps back, his expression gentle as he says "Relax.. there is no reason to be so tense. Tonight is for relaxing and laughing. Then in the morning things will be much different. For now.. relax."

Ava just glances to the other boys and then grabs them both by the wrist and leads them in more, letting his Lantern uniform fade away. "C'mon.. I'll show you the room that I usually use." he says with a big smile.

"The meal will be ready in a bit!" Sunsinger calls after them, then shakes his head in amusement and goes back to working. The tension in the other two is easy to see, even without being empathic like his son. maybe by the end of the evening they will be convinced to let loose a bit.

Henry's not so much tense as he wants to be respectful to Avalon's father. He nods, and moves after Sunsinger. "Sounds like a plan, sir."

Josh is nervous though. That's just him. He squeaks as Ava drags him along, blushing a little. "Thank you, sir!" he calls as he follows the others.

Ava gives the other boys a smile and then draws them into a small and cozy little room with a sunken sleeping ring in the middle of the room. He flops onto the soft bedding and then closes his eyes and says "I think that my mother is in the next room over.." He then opens his eyes and looks to the two as he says softly "It's all going to be okay.. I promise."

Henry grins. "All will be well, right?" He flops on the bed next to Ava. "Understood. A mom in the next room can definitely put a kibosh on, uh, noise-making." He smirks and leans back, putting his arms behind his back.

Josh slips onto the bed as well, cuddling up to Avalon. "Ava...after we...finish the feartail...does it atleast get used?" he asks. "It doesn't just rot out there, does it?" he asks after a moment.

Between the flopping Henry and snuggling Josh, Ava opens his wings and curls them around the both of the other boys. He idly strokes the stiff primary feathers on one wing along Henry's flank, caressing lightly as he wraps himself around Josh.

"Well, part of the rite is bringing the animal back with us to prove that we completed the rite.. Then there is a big feast." he replies softly as he nuzzles his face into Josh's hair. He then glances to Henry and smirks all the more as he says "I don't see how having her near would make any difference if we're quiet. She's not empathic."

Henry raises his brow and looks at Josh, then looks at Ava. "Quiet. With Josh." He chuckles. "Riiight."

He holds them both tight, lying on the bed.

Josh pouts. "Hey...Ava's louder than I am," he protests, going crimson.

"Yea.. I"m the one that you always find so much fun in making scream.." Avalon teases Henry in a soft tone, his words a touch breathy. Josh's crimson flush makes him laugh softly though, and he sighs out a breath and just tries to relax. Despite the joking, he's still nervous - despite his best efforts not to be.

Henry squeezes Avalon tight. "It's okay, Blue... it's going to be okay. You're not doing this alone." He rubs Avalon's hair back from his face. "Rest up. We've got a big day tomorrow. For now... Josh and I have got you. Sleep."
