Henry slowly wraps his arms around Josh. "Hey," he says, still gently. "What's wrong? Where's Blue?"

Josh takes a few moments to calm down, wiping his eyes before he replies. "Nothing...nothing. Just...just me being stupid," he says softly. The healer takes another moment to look outside the cave and then frowns. "Ava went to get your rings so we could get back and not have to walk three days carrying the Feartail."

Henry nods, and reaches up to place a hand on Josh's face, pulling his chin down so he can meet his eyes.

"Hey... talk to me. You're not stupid."

Josh is a bit startled. He stares a moment, sure he won't win an argument with Henry.

"I thought I was going to lose you again...and then Ava got hurt and he wouldn't let me heal him and said I shouldn't have healed you and," he starts to cry again.

Henry holds on tight to Josh. "Josh... I'm still here. You did the right thing."

Josh buries his face against Henry again. "After Malicor...and then feeling the Feartail die and seeing the other one bite into you and Ava get slashed up...I...oh god...Henry," he just breaks down and cries more. Josh tends to bottle things up until there are eventual breakdowns like this.

Henry holds Josh tight, letting his boyfriend cry.

"I'm okay. Ava's okay. We're alright... thanks to you."

Eventually, Josh stops crying. He doesn't let go of Henry though. He remains quiet as well.

Henry holds Josh tight as long as he needs it. "I have faith in you, Josh. I have faith in you... and I love you."

"I love you too, Henry," Josh eventually says. "So much...don't know what I'd do if I lost you or Ava..."

"You'd survive," Henry replies. "Because you're stronger than you give yourself credit for. But I don't have any plans on letting that happen any time soon."

Josh gives a weak little chuckle. "I'll survive anyway...stupid powers keep me alive," he tries a little joke. "Good. I'm not letting go."

"So I'll trust you to keep me alive, even when I do stupid things like leaping into a Feartail's mouth. Right?" He gives Josh a friendly poke in the side without letting go.

"Yeah," Josh responds, squirming from the poke. "I'll kick the ass of Death itself to keep you alive."

"Then... I don't have to worry, and neither do you." He gives Josh a kiss. "And you can trust me to keep doing the stupid things, right?" He winks.

Josh returns the kiss eagerly, craving the contact right now. The healer pouts at the wink though.

Henry holds Josh tight, giving him another kiss. If Josh needs contact right now, Henry will give it to him. However much he needs.

Josh holds this kiss longer than the last, keeping Henry held tightly. "Ava's going to warp back soon," he eventually says.
