Josh is downstairs right now, humming a tune as he prepares some food for the three of them. "Hey, Ava? Henry?" he calls up the stairs. "What would you guys like to drink?"

A few moments after Josh calls, Avalon signs out of communications with Odym, and then goes to stand with a stretch. Josh's voice brings a grin to his face, and he goes to follow the sound of the tall blond's call from below.

"I dunno. Juice I guess?" he calls back before he makes a stop at Henry's room and knocks on the door frame. "Wanna take a break and come down? I got a call from Odym that I need to share." he then says to the other Lantern.

Henry finishes a sentence, then gets to his feet, stretching as he goes.

"What's up, Blue?"

"Sure thing, Ava. Fine out what Henry would like for me?" he requests, smiling and heading back to finish preparing the food and get the drinks.

"Oh, Josh wants to know what you wanna drink." Avalon says as he passes the message on from downstairs and then goes to lean against the door frame. "But anyways, Sayd just called me and asked me to report to Odym in person within the next three days. Think you could give me an escort?" He then grins and motions to Henry, "C'mon.. I think Josh has lunch ready."

"I could do that," he nods. He heads downstairs to the kitchen with Avalon. "Thanks, Josh! Anything's good for me."

By the time Ava and Henry get downstairs, Josh has lunch set out on the table with cups of juice waiting for each of them. He finishes watching his hands and turns as he senses the others. "Heya. Lunch is ready. How's that paper going, Henry?"

"Thanks a ton, Josh." Avalon says with a grin. He then goes to flop into a chair, and reaches out to grab his juice and takes a long drink. "I've gotta go to Odym, Josh.. Feeling up to a space trip?"

"Almost done," he admits. He watches sympathetically to see if Josh is okay with the space trip.

Josh smiles at the news on the paper and then looks to Ava. News of a space trip has him going pale. "Space?" he asks with a little squeak to his voice. He glances up. "I...with the both of you, right?" he asks. "Umm...okay."

Grinning to Josh, Avalon reaches out and gives the other teen a squeeze on the arm before he then says "I've gotta go for a face to face meeting, but Odym is a wonderful place. It's gorgeous with a ton of life and animals. I know space is hard on you, but once we get there, you'll enjoy it. I know."

"I've heard about it," Henry promises. "I've heard it's awesome."

Josh takes a deep breath and then nods. "So it's all life and animals. And there will be other Blue Lanterns there?" the healer pauses. "And they won't mind me and Henry being there?"

Smirking some, Avalon's eyes slide over to Henry and he says "As long as Henry doesn't get too close to the central battery, everything will be fine. Getting too close will make his ring blow up, but other than that.. Odym doesn't mind visitors."

He then shrugs some and takes another drink of his juice as he says "Of course there will be other Blues.. maybe you guys will get to meet my mentor Sister Sercy. Depends on what she is doing at the time, I suppose."

"Yeah, I've heard that about the central battery there. But I think I can avoid touching a giant blue lantern." He winks.

Josh frowns at the idea of exploding but nods. He gets a mischievous little smile after Henry's wink though.

"Yeah, why touch a giant one when you have an adorable regular sized one right here to touch?" he teases, reaching over to ruffle Ava's hair.

Being called adorable but causes Avalon to roll his eyes a bit, and he can't help but give Josh a rather rueful look as his hair is ruffled. "You're just partial." he accuses Josh in a rather teasing tone. Looking to Henry, he says "It's more than just touching it, you can't get within a certain distance of it, but I doubt you'll even be that close to it."

He glances to Josh then, grinning as he says "The Battery won't hurt you though, though you may feel it's power in your bones since you've worn my ring. It's hard not to feel the hope when you behold the Battery. I remember what it felt like when I stood before it when I was younger and did not have my ring yet."

"I'm curious about the battery alright," Josh remarks. "I mean, I can sorta feel your rings and your smaller batteries. I wonder what the big one will be like..." he trails off idly. The healer nods and looks to Ava after Henry's question, eager to hear the answer as well.

"I have to report in the next three days," replies Avalon. "So we don't have to get going today, but I figured we could get ready and then start heading out tomorrow. That'll give us a full Earth Day to hang around Odym and let me show you guys the sights before I'm needed to take care of Lantern stuff." He pauses, then asks "That sound okay for you guys?"

"Sounds like a plan," Henry grins. "A day on Odym should be fun."

"Yeah," Josh grins as well. "I bet it's gonna be a great place."

Avalon can not help but be pleased that Josh seems excited to go. He trusted that Henry would be all for it, but he was kind of worried Josh wouldn't be on board. Now that he knows that Josh is however, he can't help but grin.
