It's been several hours - the trip from Odym back to Earth is much longer without a Blue to warp but it's not really so very far away. Not in the scope of space sectors any ways.

It's night on Odym, late and past midnight yet Avalon is still awake and inconsolably upset. In fact, he can't even really remember a time that he's been so unhappy and unable to calm himself - even in the past when he was taken from his parents.

Sayd was not unreasonable with him. In fact, she was very gentle and understanding when she came to Avalon and explained how things must be. She explained that he had been called back to Odym under false pretenses, but only because she knew that he would never have come otherwise. She explained that she understood how much he loved his friends as well as Earth, and that she was sorry that she had to take the actions that she had. Still, her words do little to console the blond teen.

*Henry. Can you hear me?* Avalon sends through their rings, unable to keep from swiping at his eyes with a wrist. He was a mess - he'd yet to return to the dormitories where the teens had stayed the night before, preferring to sit curled into a ball on the edge of the pool that sat at the base of the great Central Blue Battery. It was the only place on the whole planet that he didn't feel he was going to loose his mind.

"Hey, Blue! Wassup? How's the training going?" Henry's voice comes over the ring.

Josh glances up from his post-flight stretching, curious about the call. "Wht's up?" he asks Henry, glancing at the GL's ring.

*There is no training.* Avalon says simply, his tone flat and nearly emotionless. *They called me back to Odym because.. because I've been recalled and am being reassigned! Sayd said that Oa took issue with my being in 2814's sector and being from sector 5, and so now I have to go back to Naltor.. or at least my home sector. My hands are tied.*

Josh's eyes go wide and he stands up. "What?" he's a bit unsure of what the heck is going on.

*I don't really have any more answers or information.* replies Avalon, his tone sad now. *I've been asked not to leave the planet, but that's just because Sayd knows that if I leave on my own I'd just be going home - not back to Naltor. My home is on Earth.. what would I do on Naltor?*

"Whoever it is is in big trouble..." Josh trails off.

*I don't know, Henry.. I just don't know. Please don't go running off into the night all angry. Trying to reason with them is probably not a wise idea.* replies Avalon softly. *Sayd tried.. she explained our situation and that my heart resides on Earth. It didn't matter to them, all that matters is that I am outside of my home sector and that I was breaking some sort of law they had put in place almost 20 years ago but hadn't decided to enforce until now. She said that as much as this is a terrible situation, that at least I had what time I got with you and Josh.*

Avalon is glad that Henry and Josh aren't there to see that by now he's openly crying. Sniffling some, he wipes at his eyes again and sighs out a breath.

*I'm supposed to go back to Sector 5 tomorrow with an escort.*

"Who said anything about reasoning?!" Henry demands. "I think I was going to be kicking some fucking asses!"

Josh nodded quickly. He was in full support of hurting the Guardians at this point.

*Josh is there too isn't he?* Avalon said in a tone that from the sounds of it, was much less glum. *He's not telling you to stop is he?* Sighing, Avalon couldn't help but roll his eyes and grin a bit as he then said *At least promise me that you won't get your ring taken away, okay Henry?*

Josh sighs and shakes his head. He has no intention of stopping Henry but he will keep him from going too far.

Henry's scoff actually makes Avalon break a smile,a nd he shook his head a bit as he affected a rather mild and amused tone and replied *No, I would expect you to go running off half cocked and say several choice things to the Guardians that would get your ring forcibly removed. After a long and heated battle no less.*

Unable to stop himself, the Naltorian gives a sigh and then says *I'll try to call again when I get back to Sector 5. I'm pretty sure that I'm being monitored so I probably shouldn't speak long.. Whatever you do end up doing, at least be careful, Henry. I won't be there to watch your rear. Let Josh know that I'm counting on him till I can get back.. if ever.*
