"To say that the perks at limited is quite an understatement," Alex replied, surprisingly without any of her normal rude sarcasm. Outside of what her gran had always told her, there weren't many people she knew who were as disgusted by the muggleborns in the academy as she was. Whoever this bitch was, she was on the right track. "Don't even joke about that sort of thing. I'll be happily launching myself off of the astronomy tower the day that those filthy beasts line up at the door. Their half-breed scumbag children are gross enough," she scoffed, flicking the ash from her smoke.

"We're here to learn because we're entitled too. You can't just accept any riff-raff off the street and take them in to learn with us. Muggles think of magic as parlor tricks, that's what my grandmother says. What a bunch of morons," she sighed, her eyes meeting Gemma's for a second as the older woman leaned back against the tree. "I'd gladly show them what a wand can do."

Starting with her own muggleborn whore of a mother, though she didn't add that in, just looking away a bit instead. "They let anyone in here. My friend has been.. associating with this ugly girl, and she doesn't even know about her blood. She has no idea what her lineage is, and she's been adopted and raised by muggles! Even if she were pureblooded by some chance, which I'm sure the little skank isn't and the whore mother that didn't want her probably wasn't either, but she'd be tainted now anyway. Raised by muggles, imagine.. the two of them are out skating right now, like a couple of twats. Whatever," she huffed.

Gemma considered it a true thing of beauty when she could hear the angry ramblings of her own beliefs from the mouth of a teenager. Things couldn't have fallen into place more perfectly. This could be her first recruit, her ideal soldier. "Why throw yourself off the astronomy tower and waste good blood when you could just as easily throw one of them?" she asked, her eyes lighting up at even the thought.

She couldn't help the smile that found it's way onto her lips as Alex talked about muggles. "Why wait til their lining up at the door though?" she asked easily. "Why not dispatch of as many as you can before they sully our bloodlines any further?"

"Unknown blood," she tutted. "That's mighty dangerous stuff there. Never know what kind of nonsense they could be brinin' in," she shook her head sympathetically. "I'm sure this friend of yours will smarten up and if she doesn't... well... you could always... help her," she chose her words very carefully as she spoke of the girl's friend. "No proper witch would ever get rid of one of her own, especially not to muggles. Waste 'a good blood," she shook her head.

Alex was caught slightly off guard at what the woman proposed to her, and she was unable to compose herself enough to keep from grinning. "Well," she drawled slowly, as if she were bored rather than delighted with Gemma's words, "That is one option. I think there are lots of different ways to spill the blood of unworthy people, don't you?" she suggested in return.

"I think most bloodlines, unfortunately, are beyond repair.. but that's just all the more reason to get rid of the blood-traitors right along with them. I would like to think anyway," she sighed.

She listened especially carefully when Gemma spoke about Charlie, and she looked irritated for a moment, before turning her head away a bit. "She'll smarten up," she grumbled. "I'll see to that. I've worked too hard to help her realize that she's-- just perfect, you see. I would never get rid of her, I simply.. need to remind her where her loyalties lie. Everything I've done for her, all of these years.. it hasn't been easy, you know, on my behalf. She has been a burden at times. But I'll fix her."
