• born bryghton lancelot malloren ii to the duke and duchess of wales, united kingdom on october 12, 1990 - making him currently seventeen. only his family calls him bryghton, though, while everyone else knows him as bryght and only close friends get to call him bry. he was named after one of his grandfathers whom lived during the eighteenth century in aberystwyth, wales, united kingdom. bryght's mother is obsessed with his father's heritage and history (hence the naming of him, her "one and only son"), since he's the duke of wales and all that fancy welsh stuff. he's the next in line to rule, but has no interest in taking over the family business.
• his father's side (the malloren's) are "super wealthy and oh-so-important," coming from a long line of lords, dukes, marqueeses, earls, etc. william george malloren the fourth duke of wales met bryght's mother, elayne hilda maud, on a fluke while at some high class party celebration back in january of 1990. hmm, that's funny. bryght was born october 12, 1987... so obviously his parents had a one night stand, and his mother got in contact with his father a few months later to inform him that she was pregnant. they wed immediately in the countryside and a few months later bryght came along. mommy dearest is clearly no one special and hasn't had to work a single day ever since she and his father wed.
• the malloren family is very well-known and respected in europe (kind of like prince william and henry). apparently some time, way back when queen elizabeth was ruling england, she gave one of the malloren ancestors the rule over wales. rumor has it that the relatives got in good with the queen back then and were considered a type of royalty. somehow, they've kept the country under their control all these years. his mother, on the other hand, is probably the biggest gold digger you will ever meet and doesn't do much as her role of "duchess" besides making herself seem and appear like she's still in her mid-thirties.
• bryght lived in wales with his parents until he was fourteen when his father decided that he needed to go to a proper elite preparatory school and moved bryght to the united states on his own to a vacation house they had in salt lake city, utah. he's had a nanny taking care of him all this time and doesn't see much of parents (only in the summer when he returns home to resume is role as preparing to become the next duke of wales).
• basically, every new baby born into the malloren family is thrusted into the public eye the very second they are born, and it was no different with him. he grew up with all the attention and seem to not be able to get enough of it now. bryght's currently living in the high and fast lane at west high school and rules the school in his own way and eyes.
• if you really need to know: no, he no longer has his welsh accent since he came to the united states at a young age and picked up on the american accent, but he can jump back into it on command when he wishes - either to charm a new girl or whatever. he rarely does, though, since it reminds him so much of the duty which he's supposed to uphold.
• bryght listens to all kinds of music (rock, pop, new wave, rap, r&b, etc.) depending on the mood he's in - he doesn't really have a favorite. but if anyone were to ever hear any form of classical music blasting from his house and/or car, it would be in their best interest to keep far away. bryght only listens to classical when he's extremely emotional about something. he's basically like a ticking time bomb at that point and time.
• he owns two cars: his audi for days when he wants to be "discreet" and his lamborghini for when he craves the attention that he so loves. he also has his own personal limo for those really important charity events his parents make him do for wales. he also has a rather interesting sense of fashion and prefers to wear argyle and plaid patterns of random, bright colors.
• being raised in a high class european lifestyle has made him very prim and proper when in the public eye of elite society, but only his friends and classmates know him for his cocky and manipulating ways. at the same time, when needed he can be very charming and classy (think chuck bass status). at the same time, bryght is a spoiled little fucking brat and usually always gets whatever he wants by any means necessary.
• he's definitely into the party scene whether it be high class society parties that he's forced to attend for his parents sake or parties that his schoolmates put on, bryght is there. he's a binge drinker when it comes to alcohol. dry martini's are his favorite, but when it comes to getting completely trashed he'll down a few jack&cokes. as for drugs, marijuana is his herb of choice and plays in the snow when he feels like it. he doesn't have an addicting personality, so he's not ever scared he'll od and knows his limits.
